It’s really amusing to me that a Marat can instantly kill an HMS Dreadnought but the instant the Dreadnought angles, the Marat struggles to pen.
Very funny watching them panic at sub 9km as I can go into their boilers.

Really interesting that each ship of the Sevastopol class has different ammunition layouts with Parizhskaya Kommuna being the best defended.
Most people just jump on the Naval hate train without even trying it, but it’s honestly a really good game mode!

Got lucky to be in a match with teams with lots of players and at least not fully uptiered on a good map? Possibility for a good match is there…
Get put into a naval ec match playing a 6.7 heavy cruiser fully uptiered…2 vs 2 at start but your ally immediately quits, the other team gets one more player and a 2 man squad for some reason. You now face possibly 4 x 7.7 battleships in our 6.7 heavy cruiser. None of the enemies played the gamemode before so they dont wait for the convoy spawn to loopkill you from 10 km out and push your harbors but they all spawned on the UK/French coast in standard battleships that go 30 kph max?
You can now sail for 30 km (30 minutes or at least 20 until in engagement range), because they are so slow you otherwise wont get any action. Because bots dont spawn at the convoy spawn. Youll have to sail across the whole english channel only to get obliterated by ships you cant do anything against.
Unfortunate if you activated lots of boosters and cant simply leave and let the match close without players in one team…pray to get anywhere in the first 30 minutes with big boosters where there arent any almost invincible bots in 7.0 battleships…

But you are the one who went 6.7 without proper setup. Problem of some players that they expect that every match will be their side wining.
True, but what does having a 6.7 lineup help me in a 1 vs 4 being fully uptiered facing at least 3 players in the enemy team that can bring 7.7 battleships like scharnhorst? Should i spawn a stock 6.7 battleship that takes even longer to cross la manche? At one point you gotta start grinding a tech tree man…
Should i bring more 6.7 and 6.3 tech tree cruisers? what does that do for me? I can only play one at a time.
My side whining is easy. I can do that in a 1v10. all chat and start crying is a hobby of mine.
Idk what ur point is on this one…is it too hard to grasp the concept of 1 player with 6.7 lineup facing 4 players with 7.7 is entirely pointless? why should anone drag himself through a two hours plus match like that? If it wasnt for the stupid boosters i would have left instantly, like my teammates do. Idc about winning too much, tho its nice if you can. But being able to do anything is kinda the point of playing.

You come to grind boosters, so grind them, respawn on the other side of the map and grind bots, no one will care about you. Beside that you are the one who bought 6.7 lame ship without proper setup to grind boosters. Acting as wallet warrior, suffer as wallet warrior.
Oh youre so right. Playing without premium ship spading a 6.7 wyoming would have been so much better in that situation truly. Facing Scharnhorst, Gneisenau and Sevastopol. with all bots spawning at least 30 km away.

? they are all at least decent, well except for this match i had on english channel where the matchmaker for some reason only put players in the enemy team.
Doesnt really help tho that bots dont spawn closer like at the convoy at the start of the match. And when later spawns appear they can be as close as 10 km to one side’s closest ports and sometimes for an hour straight so one team is just endlessly defending for some reason.
the idea is good, the execution, well…its war thunder (so no surprises there) and that stuff (like carrier farming etc) has been problematic for as long as naval ec exists.
But…YAY we get bots now and matches start with as little as 2 players -.- (dont get me wrong, im more or less fine with the bots, at least then you have somethign to do when theres not a lot of players) BUT they put 0 effort into fixing most of the actual problems of the gamemode…Just some ductape on top, this will work for the next 10 years lmfao
It has some serious flaws, but I agree.
besides, i just played malta in a full uptier. 20 mins to realize its absolutely pointless in a full uptier.
3 spawns to chose from, one is right in between their whole team, the others are too far back or ports. worst map i played in the last 4 days where i didnt do much else than play naval ec. pos map fr. 0 space to move around, everyone sitting on their side of the map and no matter where u spawn a couple of min later an enemy player with a scharnhorst will spawn in your face.

I’m disappointed with Lion so far. Like, it’s cool she survives multiple magazine detonations but that means little when she almost immediately loses hull sections within 2 to 3 salvos.
What do you expect from 47000t ship in the world of 57000t+, it’s barely 8.3 BR worth. I wonder why @Morvran not plead for its BR change in recent BR change tread.

I see absolutely no point in investing in anything that has to deal with toxic Soyuz and what I’ve heard from a few people that have it. It isn’t that good either. Like Vanguard and the KGVs, probably 0.3 over BR
Then on top of that, I CBA to deal with WT much at the moment, so CBA to grind it
Though I’ve been asking for Tiger to go down for well over a year now, despite being one of the worse performing 6.0 cruisers, its still 6.0. so at this point, I don’t think they actually listen to the community at all when it comes to naval

South Dakota have better armor than Lion.
I’m gonna be real, it’s a fairly average ship with not much going on for it other than its ridiculously high speed for a battleship.
The armor is worthless at her BR though. Nagatos, Bismarcks, etc just go straight through her.
