Naval mode is finally dead

I mean, I know some people will get a lil’ ruffled when I say this, and I mean no offense but like, at 7.0… you’re not doing anything. So this change has the LEAST impact. At that tier, a lot of players are essentially sitting still, or steaming away at 20kph. So I’m not surprised that 5.7+ players aren’t as outraged or upset as coastals. That gameplay is the LEAST impacted. (not all of you guys. Fella in that YT vid is also annoyed at the BB level).

But, All other gameplay is severely crippled.

and to add some wishes:

  • show near enemy vessels on the map
  • identify enemy vessels depending from distance (none/ship-type/ship-class/ship-name)
  • add torpedo reload zones near the spawn-points (maybe incl. a cool-down time)
  • nerf ai anti-air
  • hold distance correction if chosen manually

Holding distance correction would make me swap right over to RB, currently I get sick of scrolling to recorrect over and over… feels like my mousewheel is going to wear out before a line is fully ground out!

Agree.

Good idea. I like it.

I think if they made it it so the lead required was less in the old system it would work. The old system, you had to some times lead so far ahead ( if you were sailing full speed) that you don’t see the ship in the binoculars. That probably turned off a lot of people.

Next have the ability to aim your big guns at different targets. The fronts are shooting at one thing and the rears at another. many times in order to maintain angling, your rear guns can’t point at the target. Let them shoot at something else. This would male ships way more involved and different than any game play. I think it would catch on with some. Right now you can target big guns at one thing and secondaries at another. Would not be hard to do.

MIsguided, scary and wrong way to go. Make it more interesting and you will get more people playing. Speed up the action a bit.

That’s why I play NAB.

Yes it was.

They should be doing a rock, paper, scissors style of play.

how much did you get RP for that?

Sorry, can’t remember for rp, but sl was near a million

ugh, who cares about SL

I’ve found the screenshot…

Meh, not worth the time play EC with this rewards and smeiarcade rules, i whish it was full arcade rules i think that holding NAB EC popularity.

ps. it was NRP community who asked this semirules years ago.

and i got proporsal for chaining it Флот, привести Аркадное морское противостояние к Аркадным же правилам - Корзина - War Thunder — официальный форум but it didn’t get enough votes to be passed to developers. Sad.

After NAB aiming change, EC play is full arcade aiming mode (during arcade days of course)

Nope speed not the same, markers too and all other mechanics are from RB.

i did not get what your’re saying, for me is the same as current arcade mode

Speed of ships in NAB EC is from RB and other mechanics too.

ps. i got 3 proposals pending here, if they didn’t change it in coming patch i will make another one for NAB EC to become full arcade rules.

Kweedko just comes in here, makes a bunch of noise, negates everything you say, and is a general nuisance. Don’t let him get you twisted.

The fact that the aiming is new aimbot arcade style means that 90% of the gameplay is current Arcade style.

Why you don’t switch to NRB if 90% of gameplay is aiming?

You should make a proposal that bot ships in Air Arcade get the same aiming system as the bot ships in Naval Arcade. And I don’t mean the AI ships with names like “Timofey”. I mean the bots in the back that are generically named “destroyer” or “cargo ship”. Gaijin introduced the aiming to make it friendlier for new players. I think it should be friendly for new Air Arcade players too. Imagine the enjoyment new players will get when their planes are destroyed seconds after spawning by “Destroyer”! Its a shame to only allow Naval Arcade to get such noob friendliness.
