Why should they?
Why should an 7.0 come to a 5.0 battle? Is that a question, dude? and if you bring a costal ship at that BR do you think a 20mm gatling gun is going to penetrate 300mm+ Armor. And since 300mm is for flat penetrate… now the shell always land about 30 degrees on the armor making it 350mm+… and that is just the outer armor. mixing with the interior Armor gonna get over 400mm+
The battle basically became AI vs AI. Players are easily elimated once spawned

- Wait for gaijin uptier you
- start killing those costal AI
- They will pop out a battleship, heavy cruiser, light cruiser, battlecruiser or destroyer in their Second spawn.

Demonstrate where you get 7.0 enemy at 5.0 setup as you stated.
There are WW1 Dreadnoughts as low as 5.7 (such as HMS invincible), so it wont be a 7.0 you’ve encountered in a 5.0 line-up, but could be any number of 5.7/6.0 BC/BBs

lol. Who farm bots? More like players at high tier botting players.
But you’re right. Coastal is dead. Point well made. The entire reason War Thunder Naval was created has ceased being viable for play.
I get it. There are people who wants this to be World of Warships. But that game sucks. It’s boring. And now, so is WT Naval Arcade.
Fix the aiming mechanic. Give players agency in where they hit. Stop the game from being an idle clicker. And maybe players will come back.
The numbers have already shown a SIGNIFICANT drop.
Let’s hope it drops more. Maybe devs will listen then.

What would you say when they show SIGNIFICANT raise when patch comes and naval event begin?
didn’t we already state that every patch comes with a game wide boost in numbers as player return to check it out? And didn’t we establish that compared to all game modes, NAB was the weakest? I guess we’ll see where all the numbers stabilize.

But yeah… it’s a minority of detractors who are just mad because coastal bots.
Would be nice if you just acknowledge the fact that, lots of people find the aiming mechanic change to be garbage.

felt like every bot in both air and ground are very accurate now… used to be trash
