Naval mode is finally dead

so next event is again a ground one - time left to fix naval…

According to their last update it will be
1.tank
2.airplane
3.tank
4. one moth cap
5 .Naval

So next naval will be at July

so what you gonna do

yes, naval is again left out - but this gap is ok for me as I am out of home next weeks…

The recent community update in no way acknowledged our protests. I posted asking why, was ignored, and instead someone else asking about naval events got a reply. I’ve since replied at the moderator again requesting acknowledgement from gaijin, and others here should as well. Continue the discontent, continue to not play NAB, continue to reject this change.

Yes it’s its buggy on close distances and need some improvements.

Range inticated is clearly wrong but if you fire it will go somewere above

some times

It will also not take into account your speed but I can’t replicate right now

Another issue is you are penalized for spawning at the start, 1st spawners get targeted by all the bots with perfect aim and you are pounded into scrap in a minute. So it pays to wait 1-3 minutes to spawn so that you will only be targeted by 1 or 2 ships AND enemy ships will already be worn down.

And if you are also a first spawner it is harder to get a kill b/c anything you aim at will be dead before you over come the aim bug.

Where you point the cursor is where the rounds go. The AI doesn’t aim for you other than make sure the shells go to where the cursor is NOT where the ship is.

Everyone is seeing the same problem. If the range finder says I am firing at 10.3 km, at bearing 96 degrees my shells should land somewhere around there not at 5 km down or 30 degrees off horizontal unless we are bucking around in 20’ waves or a stock ship and totally untrained crew.

Could you show us a video of what you are doing and what happening, cause I’m not meeting any unexpected or inexplicable shot after fix patch, as well as issues spam about that stopped.

If you mean the secondaries this happens as they are shooting beyond their max range so their projectiles are falling short

Auto-aiming has its pros and cons, but what has become very noticeable is that it has become extremely difficult for destroyers, not only because they simply hit, but also because hits with instant detonation have become much more frequent. In just 3 battles, I received 6 detonations of destroyers, and from the very first hits. This simply destroys all desire to play.

I’ve never noticed a numbered range, I’ve just shot where my cursor is.
So if you’re experiencing a bug, I haven’t experienced said bug myself at this time.

Jesus christ how the hell are you meant to actually aim at a specific spot in arcade with the new aiming mechanic? It must be possible to hit a specific point on a target since I keep getting killed by being shot in the ammo storage 1 minute into a match by a guy 13km away but when I aim at a target 5km away all my gunners can target is the smokestacks and torpedo tubes. Doesn’t matter where I put my cursor all my shots just hit the same useless points.

Also something similar to the severe damage system in air battles needs to be implemented into naval. Spend 5 minutes shooting at a guy and take out 99% of their crew only for someone to put 1 shot into them and get the kill. Half the time you don’t even get the assist you just get absolutely nothing, and even if you do get the assist you get absolutely no reward at all for it.

2 kills + 7 assists. Gets nearly double the RP for the 2 kills than the 7 assists

I get that my team lost but there’s literally nothing that can be done with a team full of light/heavy cruisers and destroyers get put against a team full of battleships and battlecruisers. But even for that these rewards are absolutely abysmal. You can get more RP from 1 assist and then dying right after in ARB with a premium jet.
