Yes but the Bismarck looks weak no ? The Gneisenau seem very strong on the other hand
Gneisenau suffers the same issues as Bismarck except 1 less turret and doesn’t see Soyuz and Iowa as often.
I can’t really say if it’s weaker or stronger, I haven’t reached it yet… but my expectations are higher for the Scharnhorst than for the Bismarck.
It does suffer the same weakspots but its much harder to kill because not only is the weakspot a bit smaller but its also more protected than it is on the Bismarck.
Okay, that’s what I thought, because I’ve had some good fights against the Gneisenau several times, whereas the Bismarck is usually over quickly.
The reason why it feels like that probably is because the barbette armor below deck on the bismarck is only like 220mm whilst its just all around 360 for the gneisenau and scharnhorst
Feels like it pops the same to me.
Probably comes from Barbette Length if i had to guess, the Bismarck Barbette is a bit longer below deck (i think) so that if u just penetrate the upper part of the barbettte below deck it might just not do enough with the fire to instantly pop them whereas Gneisenau/Scharnhorst are pretty much Below deck instantly into Magazine/Shell room so the fires there are nearly guaranteed to damage the ammunition.
You can USUALLY tell that that theyre going to die from the fire if the hit you did also turned the ammo slight yellow (usually enough to make them blow up with the fire).
I am genuinely loving the fact NoDak can instantly die from a single AP shell from a poltava that penetrates not only the armor belt but explodes in empty space (empty magazine behind where the shell penetrated)

So not only does the NoDak die from Barbette fires with relative consistency, it dies from any sort of penetration.
And it’s got next to no penetration at 10km, meaning even a Nassau class can wall it.

Prepare you “russian bias” tears due to tu-95 will be in setup 8.3 with Soyz, but b-52 will not be with Iowa.

Tu-95 is a massive target and not very fast.

Im not quite sure why u wouldnt use the b52 with the Iowa but hey…

Yeah my bad, for the second i thought that 8.0 BR is max, dunno why, considering that i have all tops researched.
New 8.7 to counter Soyuz when?
Or maybe nvm. Gaijin would make it one tapable by soyuz and full salvo of this would make one souyz section yellow.

All of these ships were at some degree of completion in the dry dock.
