I’m all for Challenges being challenging, so that you can take your time to complete, but the daily tasks themselves are just insane.
Play any other mode, and you’ll likely complete the tasks without even paying attention. In fact, sometimes it’s better to do it that way, so it’s not frustrating. However, I played naval practically all day once, and I still had only 2 wins out of 6 required at around 9pm for the rank III and above task. The first task must have taken me something awful to complete, and I wasn’t paying attention to it. When I looked at my win record for the past ~9 matches, they were almost all losses. It’s very hard to manipulate an outcome in Naval compared to other matches. You’re either in a ship that can’t get to a control point, or you can’t compensate for your team’s failings for any number of reasons. It’s not like planes where you can go to ground to cap or kill ground units to squeak out a win. It’s not like tanks where you can cover some important role or position with a certain composition with respect to the map. Naval is basically a crapshoot in this regard.
I had something like 6 losses in a row before I stopped scrolling. I began trying to win in order to complete the task. Now with Coastal battles at around the 2.3 rating, this is probably not so bad, but it’s still a crapshoot. Trying to do this with crapshoot odds at higher naval ratings where you’re likely to get into matches that last over 20 minutes, this is insane. I got to 5/6 wins, and I gave up and changed the task to tanks and got it in one or two matches.
What I’m trying to say is that there are very few good special tasks, and many of the 3 point tasks are simply way too numerous in their requirements. 6 naval wins is a Special task, not a daily task.
I really think you guys ought to have alternative objectives when doing Naval. Give an either or option that are relative to the different types of play available. 6 wins in Coastal can take a few hours. 6 wins in Bluewater is guaranteed to be a few hours at minimum.
4 Wins (because player opted for coastal) or 2 wins with 2800 mission score (because player opted for Bluewater or dominated in Coastal). That would seem way more reasonable for a 3 point daily task. Actually, the Special task Sea Battle is more generous than this. It’s Win 2 with score 2000. This is much simpler and easier to complete than winning 6 with required activity within 22 hours.
The task to kill vessels with a torpedo from a plane is also insane. There’s only a very small battle rating window that can do this. Once you get into 4.0 or higher, a torp is no longer a guaranteed kill. I tried completing this recently. There were many ships lined up. I launched 3 torps from an Italian bomber. I scored 2 hits. I scored 0 kills. hahahaha
Why is there a task for killing vessels with a Strike aircraft and separate task for killing with bombers? Just combine these two. It’s ridiculous. Japan doesn’t even have any Strike options.
Make Base Capture Streak task an either/or, so a player can either cap 2 points or cap 1 with a sea plane spawn (not a sea plane from ship). There just isn’t enough flexibility with the current tasks. Sea plane spawn caps should be way more rewarding. Should come with an award type bonus thing.

Points for Lions and RP might be fine the way they are in Naval, but when it comes to the Daily Tasks and Special tasks, this is insane. You can chip off 20-40% crew and change targets to have a teammate finish it for an assist, but the game is currently tuned to where you will possibly get nothing. You have to be landing non-killing blows onto this vessel much like optimizing in tanks might be to use solid shot to gain assists (British tree grinding), but in Naval this might mean using HE. You have to be chewing the ship that others are attacking, and hoping they make the kill.
Likewise, if you’re in need of kills, you can do the majority of the damage to the ship, but someone snipes the kill. This of course is bound to happen like in any game, but it makes little to no sense here, especially if the points are distributed based on hits and damage. Why not throw out pointless kill stats as well? It’s possible to complete simple kill or assist counts without paying attention, but there are far many more tasks associated with kills and assists than there are damage and score which is incongruent with the mode’s standardization of points accumulation.
The tasks are modeled after the other modes, but the other modes do not equate score and lions with damage like the way that Naval does. One of the two needs to be fine tuned, and I would think changing the tasks would be better. Some naval battles are meant to be slugfests where two ships duke it out, and it’s possible neither sinks before the end of the match.
Change Kills with torp from planes task to hits and bump it up if you have to.

Add some kind of Torpedo hit indication to the UI because often a Torp can hit without any feedback to the player to know if they made a wise call or not when firing. Keep the Lions indicator with “Hit” for shells and add something new for Torp. Maybe there is and I haven’t noticed. I know there’s shell pen icons that pop up, but I haven’t noticed a Torp indicator.
