The description of hte award doesn’t say that it only applies to player vehicles:

I guess it could be that it is SUPPOSED to be Player vehicles only… in which case it would be a bug in the description.
It’s a bug. If you get 5 player kills you do get it. They didn’t fix it when they made bot boats count the same as player ones in March.

I got professional at least 2 or 3 times as I completed the “Voroshilov Sharpshooter” with boats.
But for the BP achievement you could only take one per game, it was same with tanks
Planes counts the multiples correctly. Had a ten-kill for six points against the achievement in one game. Ships counts correctly too, if you only count the human players you killed. I had a nine-kill, five humans, 4 bots, got one point against the achievement.
Update: tanks also count the multiples correctly. Also had a seven-kill for three points against the BP achievement. It’s just the boats that are broken for “Professional” right now.

Yep your correct, it’s been happening for ages. Don’t expect Gaijin to do anything about it though; too much trouble with which to be bothered. Notice that all the patches and updates are for high tier air and ground battles…that’s when the premium vehicles are, got keep those players happy.
