Naval AB aiming. (beating a dead horse)

At the time of the aiming change I didn’t play war thunder. I came back to grind the Shisaka. It pains me greatly to see what has become of my favorite mode.

There once was a time when you had to know how to aim. That time has passed. It doesn’t matter if you used to be able to hit turning enemies. It doesn’t matter if you used to be able to take speed and bearing into account in order to hit that sweet first shot ammo rack. It doesn’t even matter if you used to be able to perfectly trap PT boats in a hail of secondary fire to protect yourself. In fact it doesn’t even matter if you were able to dodge all thst secondary fire as the PT boat.

It just doesn’t matter.

So what matters now? Point and click. That’s what matters. Gone are the days of understanding how shells fly. No longer must you understand the differences in time gained vs time lost on shells shot at extreme range. You point and you click. You don’t need to learn any of these concepts now if you struggled before. You point and click.

The skills I and many others had acquired over the course of Naval AB’s lifespan so far are now useless. I once took pride in my ability to compete against other players on the high seas. But no more. My very particular set of skills has been stripped from me. And now that the game seems to have turned against me; I see no reason to grind the Yamato for my very own. Because I’m not the one sinking ships; the aimbot is doing it for me.

I just don’t want to play WT Mobile on my playstation. There used to be a distinction there.
