NATO tank loading times

Not really. Doctrine has crews take more time between shots than the reload.

Talking about doctrine in this case doesn’t really make any sense does it? Gaijin wouldn’t include that in game.

They sort of do, IIRC the CV9040 Bill and Bradley can drive with the ATGM launcher deployed and fire on the move IRL (but doesn’t because of doctrine). In game you can’t do any of that.

Glad we agree on that.

Yeah i was specifically talking about this:

Doctrine, haha, when a war breaks out, last thing soldiers think about is doctrine, it instantly goes to staying alive.

True, but you also said:

Which we can’t be certain about. They currently don’t, but nothing’s stopping them from doing so in the future (it would be very dumb, but still).

You mean abrooms, chally and leopard right?

Leclerc is autoloading like the Type 90.

With how bad all ATGM vehicles are in the game I also don’t understand why they get artificially limited like that, they’re completely useless.

Marders and Bradley have a k/d of 0.4 and a 35-40% winrate, and no one even bothers to play the M113s, the Italian one has an 8% winrate funnily enough but practically no one plays it.

Then I’ll make myself clear…
As of now Gaijin hasn’t included THIS specific aspect of REAL life doctrine into the game, probably because it would be somewhat stupid.

You don’t know their KDRs unless you’re violating NDA as an employee of Gaijin, which we can clearly see you’re not.
On top of that, ATGM carriers are fine; nor are they artificially limited in reload.

I mistakenly included Leclerc, but did not mean Leopard as the Leo has a slower reload as base :)
Thanks for pointing it out! will edit! :)

We all know they suck.

Booooooooooo! This game should be accurate.

I promise that it would quickly not be fun anymore if everything in the game was accurate. x)

Something to point out is that loading in this game is very kept as simple as possible, there are many things that aren’t modelled or follow a simple model.

The players here already talked about human fatigue not being considered, but there are some other things, for example autoloaders don’t always reload on the same speed.

Let’s take the carousel autoloader, for example:unless you load all the carousel with the same ammo type, you’ll have different type of munitions for different purposes. The best approach is to do a 1:1 ratio, meaning that after Round X there’s always Round Y and so on (for example one APFSDS and after it one HE-FS and so on),so that if i want to load a different shell from the last position, the autoloader needs to simply move to the next position or to 2 positions. The only problem is that if i want to load the exact same shell i used, the autoloader will need to travel further and as such the loading time will be higher.

This wall of text simply states that even autoloaders don’t have an exact loading time, but rather the loading time in game is the general median time of the autoloader speed that is used because the ammo composition inside the rack is not taken into consideration.

Speaking of which, this “problem” affects basically every vehicle with a ready rack: you can’t choose what type of ammo the ready rack will have, the game will simply say “your ready rack can hold X rounds,so for X rounds fired the reload will be the maximum that can be achieved”.

So yeah, thankfully Gaijin handles the reload speed of tanks ““well”” because i rather prefer a tank’s reload speed being chosen by the devs instead of having a complicate system that can create funky and annoying bugs

Oh. Good point. What do you think about the FFNF Alsace? Would it be a possible addition to the game in the future?

Do you see late era battleships/battleship proposals coming to the naval forces of this game?

No I am not a traitor. I enjoy both Wargaming and Gaijin’s games.

I do miss WoWS some times. Never interested in the grind,i loved playing my only three premium ships: the ORP Blyskawica (bought for free with the coal earned),the Dunkerque (won at a giveaway inside the WoWS reddit) and the Scharnhorst (which i only spent 6€ to have it)

But the game was becoming more and more dull, and less enjoyable.
