The most op missile was 9m with cheat smokeless. 100 meters of multi path makes close ir missiles meta where overperformed 16,15,gripen dominate with invisible 9m.
and the better armor is unrealistic too for the higher tier mbts
Sim yes. RB no. I suppose you know why. IRCCM works great on either of those so there remains range (which was fulfilled by the R-27ET/ER) and maneuverability. R-73 works great. 9M has more range but with a big diamond is not really invisible

How bout type 59 at 8.0 low turn rate slow bad gun handling has same pen as all others but is super bad
Now don’t complain about armour it sits at br 8 so unless it has composite or reactive you can consider it has no armour.
Plus compact crew so dies at one shot .

??? It has a stabilizer you spud. The armor is also good for the BR and this DOES matter since it for example does not die to autocannons easily and conventional ammo in downtiers often bounce…
It has a basic stabilizer not an 3 plane one and has terrible turret rotation…it can’t properly engage . Plus that br range is full of heat it’s an easy kill. It can’t engage at close or at long …worst tank
All other nato tanks except some heavys at 7.3 can kill it easily…8.0 ones are faster better gun handling same pen plus fast turret rotation.
Doesn’t matter. HIGHLY impactful and HIGHLY useful tool that works up to ~22-24kph which makes the Type59 worth 8.0. It can engage just fine. Type 59 also easily knocks out any tank it meets in matchmaking regarding the gun.
This is a classic case of blaming the tank for your own flaws.
China is one of my most played nations, and I find the type 59 to be very good against tanks at 8.0 and below. Unlike most tanks it faces, it has a stabilized gun and good armour against regular projectiles. Only APFSDS and HEAT will reliably go through. The gun is also very potent and regularly one-shots leopards, centurions and M60s.
Lmao. It was pretty good in the Air superiority update. Felt more consistent than the F-15. Didn’t play the Gripen
It wasn’t meta at any point. If you liked it that’s fine, but it’s always objectively been worse than the american jets.
Type 59, was the worst tank I have ever played it could not keep up with turning against fast enemy and would die even if a apcs shell hit it .
The turret rotation was the worst .
Only good thing was the apbc shell it was the only shell that could somehow Just but still terrible even the reload was longer.
You just don’t like the tank, but the tank itself is fine for 8.0 and even on the STRONGER END of 8.0s (for SKILLED players anyway…) because of the stab.
