I think the gaijin want to make their game depict the USSR’s victory in the Cold War.
If the Illuminate from Helldivers 2 had played War Thunder, their main force would be attacking Russia. That way, at least Super NY wouldn’t have fallen.
It’s undeniable that China and the United States, as the most militarily competitive powers in reality, can’t hold their own against Russia in the game. That’s kind of interesting, isn’t it?
Lmao
Lmao x2
Yes, in the game, Russia is the number one army, and the US is in last place. I think Gaijin’s point is clear.
Here’s a dark-humor take: the U.S. military on January 3rd was the Russian military that Russia imagines itself to be. You know,1h22min.
This might offend some people, my apologies.
Total skill issue.
Its never russia on its own, who are they paired with.
Also if i use 12.7 russia i tend to lose, even if i do extremely well
In game USA is a strong contender for one of the best trees in game?
The reality is, Russia has the best tech tree, while all the others are merely "one of the powerful competitors."😂
his just shows that Gaijin is misrepresenting Russia. Game developers shouldn’t depict things like that. Then it’s no wonder everyone in the game hates Russia.
i play RU and for the past ~15 battles ive only had 1/2 wins… we’ve usually got spawn camped or out “b” point captured or lost all our members… what nation do you play?
My Germany 12.7 has around 60% winning rate, highest was 2A7 at 65%, USA 12.0 seems fine too above 60%, my USA 12.7 were dogshit at 40ish, 2A6 also on losing streak at 40% (lol) but it was my fault because I was spading it and one-death leaving.
It’s not even just “OP” stuff. It’s various small changes that add up across the place. From missiles that like don’t exist like the KH38MT, to LMUR which work entirely different than they do IRL. To “wet ammo carousels” and “Russian diesel that’s less likely to explode” they add various minor buffs and advantages to artificially make Russian stuff more competitive.
Couple this with constant nerfs to NATO vehicles. Most of them pulled out of their ass and being super inconsistent and not applied evenly. Just look at the Leopard 2. The depression nerf was a huge joke, and we’ve seen tons of example of them easily depressing all the way to the deck, coupled with them extending it way to the sides. A trunnion that causes spall, so shooting the breech often kills the turret crew. Which no other tank has. A turret basket that doesn’t protect against spall, has barely any durability and take out horizontal.
We could keep going about this, such as giving Russian tanks the absolut top reload rate, the one they have under the most optimal circumstances if everything goes flawlessly. While many NATO tanks have artificially nerfed reload rates. And so on and on.
It creates a situation at high tier where the bias becomes more and more blatant and obvious.
This whole thread is a hilarious display of cope and thinly veiled russophobia
