This isn’t an exception to Russian tanks, every fuel tank eats spall
having the best firepower doesn’t save you from being dumb and shooting spots where it ends up non-penning.
Same goes for fuel tanks eating spall, which every tank does
not every abrams you face has 5 second reload…some have 6 same as the t80…and in your clip you dont shoot where he shot

your point here does not stand…there are clips of full on shots that should kill it but no kontact 5 can just eat 500+ mm of pen

Stop shooting the parts where the armour is effectively thickest
Then you win, assuming you don’t have skill issue.
You should always assume either expert or ace crew on vehicles, otherwise you’re setting yourself up for failure
Leopard 2 has 7.8s reload on base crew, if you go in thinking you outreload the average leopard 2 with a T-90 due to this you’re just shooting yourself in the foot

tank is angled here because I’m trying to replicate the T-80’s turret position, you see the spall just not hitting the other crewmember.

Nothing involving volumetric is shown in the video.
The round didn’t bounce off of anything it wouldn’t have.
And volumetric armor was not present.
