Namer's at same br as bmpt

You miss the biggest flaw in the argument and the Namer…the RCWS ammo storage. Your BMPT fight I never see. Normally the very second I open fire, whatever it simply turns, fires a machine gun and lights off my entire 30mm ammo supply effectively making the entire vehicle useless. Most game modes going to a control point is a death sentence and possible there isnt even one you can hit.

This fact alone makes the Namer a vehicle that shouldnt even be an 8 BR.

Argument is flawed as are most. You are breaking down systems to individual items then comparing when in reality, it doesnt work that way. Namer 30mm you say may have better precision or pen…but what about when you dont have ammo to shoot?
What matters in the game when ANYTHING can ignite your entire ammo supply? Namer could have the best ammo, best gun, best everything but when any vehicle can simply put 1 round of ANYTHING into your RCWS and poof all your ammo is gone, then nothing matters. Not armor, not pen, not fire rate nothing.

All that matters at the end of the day is the actual operations and use of the weapon system. If it blows up due to anything, wtf does it matter if its pink?

Oh but it has those nice Spikes right? Literally 30 minutes ago I fired 4 of them at a T72B and most it did was damage the barrel. 4 missiles from 600m with T72 in the wide open not even hiding. So 4 missiles and a barrel damaged…oh yeah that was all I could do as he used his 12.7mm to detonate my entire 30mm ammo supply.

Looks at your stats

Brother, you have a 77.3% WR and a 4.51 KD with the BMPT. The NEXT closest vehicle you have with stats near that is the Leopard 2A7V with a 71.3% WR and a 4.08 KD. Seeing how much it massively outperforms the ACTUAL MBT it is based upon, shouldn’t that be sufficient evidence that it’s broken AF?

The comparison its awful.

But yeah BMPT its op

A minute of standing still to reload your missiles vs. Having to go to a spawn point and die after 20 seconds waiting lol

Not really a point in your favor… its a box, and I’ve seen so many dudes camp corners to do it and then pop out and keep spamming missiles

It was just showing how his stats were with it v actual MBTs. His T-80BVM has a 56.6% WR with a 2.15KD, T90A has a 51.6% WR with a 2.03 KD, etc, T80U 50.7% WR with a 1.96 KD and T80B 47.7% with a 2.25 KD. Dude’s skilled with statshark saying he’s in the top 1% of players so the fact he has almost DOUBLE the KD with the BMPT v actual MBT and a 20%+ WR with it is insane seeing how he has a similar number of matches between the listed vehicles. The reason I chose the Leo 2 was just because that was the next highest one and that is a VERY competitive MBT at top tier.

True. At this point I just hate this game. Last time I drop the game for 9 months. Now I think it will be longer. I’m reached 11.3 Israel and it’s pure “defeat” after “defeat” because Namer can’t do nothing against BMPT’s. They just swarming you, breach your gun and you are done. This happens every game. God I hate this devs.

It doesnt surprise me anymore to be honest, its a tank that never should have been added, nevermind at the BR of 10.3 to begin with. But the issue with it is you get the “skill issue” and “just go for the weakspots” people who Gaijin selectively listen to so nothing improves. It should be 12.0 minimum but because its russian its under br’d as usual. At times i dont even think any staff at Gaijin actually play the game anymore.

The last two months have just been worse and worse for me as its just constant uptiers and inconsistent damage due to EU servers not actually being EU, in which the servers cant handle since they seem to still be in 2012. Quality of the game is going downhill so much considering every update completely breaks a major thing in the game which takes weeks to fix.

Don’t worry, Russia is getting a new SPAA with the next update that has modern radar and a missile with a 30km range and was built in 2019. Cause God forbid Gaijin NOT give Russia literal modern equipment to fight tanks from the 60s-80s.

EDIT: Oh, I was wrong, it’s from 2024…

Then go play something else. No one is forcing you to play this game. Jesus. Take a break for a while.

You mean M10 Booker from 2024 and M1128 Stryker from 2002 ?

Not to mention the thing gets ammo racked all the time. One match i went to get more ammo from a cap 3 times in one match

Oh cool, so two light tanks… Let’s not forget the fact Russia has a 2005 tank w/ 2016 ammo fighting a tank from 1980 limited to the 1980 round (T90A v M1 105mm). T-72B3 is from 2010, T-72B3A is from 2016, T-90M is from 2020, BMPT is the 2016 upgrade version, T-80BVM is from 2023, Pantsir S1 is from 2008, BuK M3 is from 2016, 2S38 is from 2017… The newest Abrams is the M1A2T (being a M1A2 SEPv3) but that is something CHINA gets and not the US and we BOTH know the US won’t get the trophy system/ARAT that they can have IRL. Hell, we’re still missing the track and lead system for NATO tanks but Russia got their IRST. M3A3 is missing the trophy system and ERA and spall liners, dart shell shatter was removed when Leopards and Abrams were consistent in doing so almost 4 years ago and was promised to be “returned” when Gaijin was happy with it. Funny how NATO armor doctrine gets tossed to the side if it actually works.

The fact is 120S tank from 2000s with better ammo located at lower 0.7 br than T-90A but you so consistent on cherry picking whatever you can to proove inexistent point, game doesn’t balance it vehicles on date of their production because it won’t work that way and never will.

What is the point here literally M1A2SepV2 can have experimental LWS.

IRST has nothing to do with automatic lead system this is completley two different features and everyone including Russia missing automatic lead.

  1. I mean, I would argue that the 120S it should either get less powerful ammo or placed at a higher BR. Quite frankly, I don’t know why they added it to the game as it was a one-off prototype as a way to still use the M60 hull, which has both the weakness of no hull armor as like the M60s AND slower than them due to the increased turret weight. Does that negate how many Russian tanks fight vehicles literally retired a decade or more BEFORE it was even entered service?

  2. Wayback Machine The AN/VVR-2 was said to be installed even on the M1.

There’s also this video of them having tested AN/VVR-4 LWR on the M1A2 SEP M1A2 SEP Abrams - Laser Warning System & Rapid Obscuring System Test like you said so they do have a solid reason to add it just because.

My point is that they’ll cherry pick what to add. It’s like the Arena APS that may be finally seeing combat in Ukraine (they’ve been seen in the shops but, from what I can find, haven’t been seen in combat yet).

  1. So why not balance it out by giving NATO tanks IRST since they haven’t added automatic lead, which is what is to be used with DM-11/M830A1? Why, as per usual, does Russia get mechanics that other tanks have (also, I can’t find ANY information about them having IRST capability IRL)

Like what ? Leopard2A7V from 2021 ? Challeger 3TD from 2019 ? Ariette AMV 2022 ? Leopard2A7HU 2018 ?

Well i don’t see T-90 giving 20 mph reverse

  1. Oh wow, Leopard 2A7V - 12.7. Challanger 3TD - 12.0. Ariette AMV - 12.3. Leopard 2A7HU - 12.7.

Now the Russians. T-90A - 11.0. T-72B3 - 11.3. T-80U - 11.7. 2S25M - 10.0. BMPT - 11.3. Keep in mind, that’s ONE nation versus 4 separate nations you listed.

  1. Well, blame the Russian engineers for consistently using one reverse gear in their transmissions. Turns out they built them around just pushing forward and casualties be damned. That doesn’t negate the fact that every other nation HAS the capability to track low flying air targets and engage them IRL but don’t get it. It’s just like how over 2 years ago Gaijin said Russian tanks would get the turret control models that are “conveniently” not added still. But seeing how in the past 5 months your top 6 vehicles are all Russian, and your account shows you are VERY heavy Russian main, I can see why you’re arguing how you are. And before you get spun up, I’m working on the T90A atm but play top tier with my friends taking me up there. It is mind-numbingly easy to play Russia compared to other nations.

No you just unreasonable im not going to list the whole tree to proove my point.

Then you can do same for Abrams

Don’t understand this point one bit, if a vehicle does suck to play in a game based on global stats, what do they do with it? retains its br where it doesn’t perform so it can continue to suck because, hehe irl they are dogwater? or drop it so it becomes competitive again?

  1. You literally listed top tier vehicles as your “counter point”, which holds no water nor fits the same example of what I gave xD

  2. No, it’s Gaijin not adding things the tanks can literally do in real life or not adding things that would inherently nerf Russia but are added to NATO tanks.
