Namer 30 and Namer Tsrikhon need their models Reviewed!

Both Israeli Namer tanks need their protection models reviewed, the tanks have massive armour holes underneath both side sponsons, from which both tanks can be easily overpressured, and 2 nonsensical holes on their sides, i don’t understand why these gaps were left open, you can even see pieces of the internal armour through them. The tanks have a hole to the left of the driver, that makes no sense, and a massive second hole on the right.

Why does this hole to the left of the driver exist???

All this does is create a very unnecessary weak spot on the side armor of both Namers. The Namer is based on the Merkava Mk.4, right? There’s no hole on the left side of the Merkava Mk.4 so why does the Namer have this hole on the left side??? This makes no sence!

Now moving on to the Right side of the hull, once again, there’s a even more egregiously big hole on the armor of the tank! This time the ‘nonsensical’ hole is supposed to be the engine exhaust, but why is it so massive? We can see how exaggerated the opening is, just by comparing to how it is on the Merkava Mk.4, so let’s compare:

Here's images of how that side hole should be much smaller

So, For the love of everything, please review the Protection model of the Namer 30 and Namer Tsrikhon, right now they have a bunch of unnecessary, and very inconsistent, armor issues that simply don’t exist on the Merkava Mk.4 tanks, i’ve tryed to make a bug report on this, but they’ve either been ignored or i was told it was “not a bug” so i decided to make an appeal here on the Forum instead. like, i’m not criticizing the issue report moderators but it’s just common sense, why do the vehicles have so many massive empity holes?

Something is clearly wrong here, and need to be reviewed.

If i were to give any more information on the Namer’s apart from what is publicly available, i’m pretty sure that that would infringe the rule on Restrict and Classified information of the COMMUNITY GUIDELINES, so i’m only using images that can be easily found on the internet.

Even a T-28 with a 1930s gun can one shot a Namer from the front.

I’d recommend bug reporting this or replying to my Namer thread, cause Gaijin will likely lock this for being too similar to my post.

Edit: Appears you did.

Oh i know, i kinda did that a while ago with this comment i made on your post about the “Namer armor is still missing” this is a little of a more elaborated version of that, i’ll make another one on your thread too.

I tried to make another Namer thread myself about the Tsrikhon, but Gaijin nuked it immediately :(

Perhaps it’s possible to make one on the Eitan’s missing internal plates? Though I did make one on the model already as well.

Perhaps a bit of revitalization is in order?

Eitan implementation is odd, inconsistent with current additions, and way too vulnerable to CE for its age and purpose - Machinery of War Discussion / Ground Vehicle - War Thunder — official forum

Yes! i’m aware that the armor on the Eitan is also wrong, it’s weaker than it should be, and i know that the Eitan is missing some internal plates too! i made a bug report on it a while ago as well, Eitan (P) IFV missing some internal armor walls <— it’s this one, it got accepted, but of course it was “Forwarded for consideration as a suggestion”…

i honestly don’t understand, not only my issue, but many others on the Armor of Israeli tanks being wrong, poorly modeled or weaker than it should be, always get “forwarded as a suggestion” like these other ones:

Namer incorrect armor type/layout/thickness
Namer 30 incorrect side armour thickness and composition
Merkava 4 (all) armor values too low and mislabeled.
[DEV] Israeli Eitan Prototype Armor Incorrect Still

I would actually love to have a moderator, a developer, a manager or whatever actually explain that in details, because it doesn’t make sense! It’s not a “SugGesTion” it’s a fact. The Vehicles are wrong, they’re inaccurate, they’re performing way worse than they should be, and we (the community) are making a report on it. It’s not a suggestion If it’s wrong, then it needs to be fixed!

I’ve said this before, but what is the point of having a “community issue report system” if the issues that are reported and accepted, are simply going to be disregarded by the Developers? it’s not like the Eitan, Merkavas and Namers are going to be extremely broken if “accurate”, we have provided photos, measurements, information from the manufacturer themselves, so why haven’t it be fixed, why’s it still inaccurate? i would love to hear a developer explain, or try.
