My ideas for improving the infantry closed beta test

dear developers, i spend a lot of time in your game and i am currently active in the infantry cbt, so i have gathered many ideas. i am a big fan of tactical shooters like ready or not, and i feel that war thunder can become even better if you add more life-like details.

first of all, i want to mention optimization, as not everyone has a card like my rtx 3060 ti, and it is important for players on weaker laptops to feel comfortable in infantry battles. i really want to see a serious atmosphere of heavy reality on the maps, with abandoned things, broken furniture in houses, and old toys on the roads.

it would be very atmospheric to add televisions in the interiors that show either white noise or some old broadcasts, along with broken phones and debris nearby. this immediately shows that people once lived here and makes the map feel alive, not just a set of concrete boxes.

another cool thing would be adding ambient sounds, like the barking of abandoned dogs somewhere in the village or the creaking of doors in empty hangars when the wind blows. i imagine a map based on a village in the dnipropetrovsk region with huge hangars where you can hide vehicles and set up ambushes.

i am really looking forward to a full class system where everyone is important, whether it is an engineer, sniper, machine gunner, or a battalion commander with their own tasks. i also want to see a new infantry selection interface, with your soldier standing on the left and a convenient setup for attachments and uniforms on the right.

for weapons, it would be great to add module research lines so that everyone can customize their rifle, adding sights or grips. a separate topic is logistics, where at the start of the battle we all load into urals, kamazs, or humvees and drive in a column to the point together with tanks.

it would be massive to see huge planes like the il-76 or mi-26 helicopters in the sky that can drop dozens of players directly onto the battlefield. also, infantry really needs modern drones, like the vampire, to be able to drop grenades on tanks that are hiding in the bushes.

instead of regular artillery, it would be amazing to call in a tos solntsepek strike so that thermobaric explosions literally smoke the enemy out of every corner. night battles with nvd and ir lasers are my dream, because your engine makes light and shadows look very realistic.

by the way, i noticed a bug where light from rpg or tank shots sometimes passes through building walls in stairwells; this ruins the immersion in the dark. it would be useful for beginners to be able to test cool vehicles for battle points so they can see the level of progression they should aim for.

i want to see more camouflage types, at least five options per country, so you can actually blend in with the terrain in the forest or city. it would also be great to implement a mod catalog from players so the community can help you draw new maps and skins.

i believe that if you add all these small details and a serious atmosphere, even in testing it will play better than projects like squad. in buildings, i want to see more small debris, furniture fragments, and traces of heavy reality because your players are mostly adults.

i like how the dagor engine 6.5 works with grass and wind; it really helps infantry camouflage when crawling toward an enemy tank. if you add more destructibility inside houses so you can blow through walls with an rpg, the gameplay will become even more unpredictable.

i also think it would be cool to add a battalion mechanic so players can team up in groups right inside the battle and follow shared orders. this will help avoid chaos when everyone runs in different directions and make the game more team-based and tactical.

it would be cool if you could use stationary machine guns or anti-aircraft guns that are already placed in hangars and factories as part of the map. infantry in your game feels very fresh, and i think you are on the right track by creating such a large-scale project.

i wish you a huge audience and i hope you listen to my ideas because i love war thunder and what you are doing. good luck with development, i will continue to actively test and write reviews to make the game even better.
