My good experience with the Gaijin support after hack, ban and re-activation!

After my account was banned by Gaijin, everything turned out well in the end and I thank Gaijin for their goodwill! All the horror stories don’t seem to be true, because after an investigation, my account has now been reactivated.

My account was hacked 3 weeks ago, and it was also my fault because I didn’t activate 2FA and used a very old and bad password.

My luck was that I reported this hack to Gaijin immediately and the case was still open. Gaijin has now investigated it, wanted a dxdiag file from me and has now found me as innocent:

I’ve not experienced bad situations like my account being hacked but I had a good experience with the support.

I mean, everyone can have a good experience, if present all the needing stuff, like in this case proof that you aren’t the guy who hacked and violated the rules.

Is is PC only that is open to hacking or console as well?

No, it’s for everyone, but you need to use a browser.

Since they “hack” (gain access to) the account and not the device i don’t think console or PC matters.

But i think PC is an easier target because there are more ways to get access to the information needed to log into the account.

I suppose it is interesting to note that not all of those who are labelled as cheats are cheats.It might be a good idea for anybody who has not used F2A to do so as soon as possible.

My hamster hacked my account one night when I forgot to lock his cage, and he actually played better than me.

I aswell had good experience with the support, i reset my mobile phone that had the 2FA authenticator app installed, and they recovered my account and set up an alternate 2FA method.
2FA is very important, i cant risk to loose my account because it has the 10,5cm TigerII and the PantherII on it.

I was chat banned quite a while ago, was given the chance to have it lifted with the stipulation that any further infraction would be permanent devoicing.

I am banned currently due to a negative GE bug so I am hoping support will be good.

fake news. this is a PR stunt. gaijin employers cant be efficient at their job. its in the contract.
