Pretty horrible. At 5.7 is uptiered practically every match. 90% of the time is facing Germany, Russia, or both. Neither care about your armour except the Tiger 1, which can still pen you through ball gunner/most of the UFP(head-on) at 500m, or pen your LFP for transmission take-out which guarantees your death without third party. Russia does not need a comment, lolpens you with pretty much every vehicle except the 85.
Gun is awful, which is acceptable due to armour, IF this tank wasn’t constantly sucked into the 6.7 black hole.
Conclusion: compression issue, therefore overtiered. A pretty abysmal tank that doesn’t get to fulfill its fantasy, whereas other nations like Germany and Russia, are. There are a lot of vehicles in this game that get a ‘free pass’ so to speak where they are minorly undertiered, but it’s accepted due to being grandfathered into the game + those vehicles usually scratch a historical itch for a lot of people(see: most panthers, KT, U.S T34’s, KV-1, etc.). The Jumbo should be part of this club yet it isn’t, despite the fact it’s probably one of the fairer ones to face.
My opinion - should be 5.3.
