Multipathing in the Context of Impending Next-Generation IR Missiles

as much as I use the Multipathing on lowest ALT i would much prefer for the skill ceiling to go up and have players learn advanced maneuvers to dodge Missiles and effectively use their CMs, and i would at least like for them to Properly model the Inverse mono pulse seeker on the AIM-7M so that at least that can make shooting at targets that are multipathing somewhat bearable , like i get advantage get alt better launch parameters shoot a very nice AIM-7M at a very simple minded player that is flying straight in my direction without slowing down, just hugging the ground and I miss while he just launches a missile and i have to try my best to dodge that, yeah no that ain’t fun

So you’ll just make air RB even less manageable and further inflame the problem of 16v16 being too chaotic for top tier gameplay

Yes, it does. There is no logic that would indicate otherwise.

By… making ARH more lethal.

No logic found. What will actually happen is 16v16 will become even less manageable.

Multipathing should be reduced to historical levels as soon as possible. However stock chaff and a 10v10 limit also need to be added in order for it’s near removal to work. If all of this is done. there’s no argument against reducing MP levels because there is no need for a fake and bad mechanic in the first place.

Maybe large player discontent with the quality will push gaijin to actually change. I’m all for making top tier completely unplayable for a few months if Gaijin actually changes it in a substantial way after.

Even removing multipathing will limit furballs because ARH missiles are so much more deadly, and it will force players to play to their planes strengths.

I would be fine if it was done in parallel.

Hopeful wishing

I’m not, especially when there’s not a high likelyhood gaijin does eventually fix it.
