Why is the Yak-141 so flawed and just copies the image from the sight?
Why not add a map display, radar, or a warning system, etc.
Because it’s a copy of the CRT from the MiG-29, where’s it’s only purpose is recording for training purposes.
Can you not change the MFD through key binds (or the “Y” menu)?
Lots of vehicles in the game also don’t have their IRL MFD’s yet so it might be something that comes later (if the IRL vehicle has those options).

no not really
it is basically a backup sight
and has some extra symbology, showing the current bar the radar is scanning in the pattern
top one is what is displayed on the HUD and bottom one is what is displayed on the display

the Yak-141 dosent have a MFD
MFD stands for Multifunctional Display
and incase of the Yak-141 and Mig-29 that display only serves as a HUD repeater, so they arent MFDs
