Yep, definetly too weak to be 10.3 and of course, gun performance is irrelevant as it has to aim for weakspots and additionally because its slow, large, low survivability and poor optics it cant flank well enough :P

Its been 1.0 too low for its entire existence in this game.
Thinking 2S38 is 11.7 worthy while HSTV-L is at 12.0 isn’t that far from a rage bait.

You are only excused if you play 9.3 and get uptiered. Yea then the 2s38 is pretty powerful. But when it faces it’s own br its just food for leo2 and abrams.

First of all. It’s survivability is WORSE than most other IFVs which have their engines at the front and can tank a hit or two and almost certainly guarantees only the driver is taken out when shot frontally.
Hull down won’t save because despite the so called remote turret, if they can hit your breech, they stand a very good chance of exploding your ammo. Which happens pretty often.
And we come to the trap that is ammo pen in the 2s38. Ammo pen is mostly helpful when fighting head on which is a really bad idea in this thing since you are very vulnerable like that. When fighting from the side, you want more RoF than pen. I don’t mean to say 50mm is enough. If the PUMA had a good fire rate it would be enough for most side on shots. Even against soviet MBTs (I can kill those with 35mm SPAA API by aiming at the very bottom of the side plate).
IRST is pretty common at this BR.
HEVT is a plus, but not enough.
So, when compared to the competition, it’s not actually identical or a lot stronger. It’s often weaker. THE PEN. DOES. NOT. MATTER. THAT. MUCH.
In short, yes, it is a skill issue FOR YOU. And anyone still crying about this thing.

This is a dumb argument. It is perfectly viable at 10.7, and so is the rest of that lineup. I have that full premium lineup and i have never once used it at 10.3 due to the OBJ 292 being 10.7. It is also by no means the best or " most fun" vehicle. That would go to the UD. Altho I am aware that that is subjective. I only play this BR and lineup when I want to relax, not pay attention while earning some SL, so I guarantee you get a half decent player who actually plays the game with audio and pays attention and they would be nuking often. If they were to send it to 11.0 I could understand your complaint kind of, but a move of .4 is a joke and non consequential

Stop complaining about the 2S38 getting the nerf it deserves. You are clearly wrong, the overwhelming majority of the playerbase disagrees with you, save for the people who can’t do well in it.

I have the full 10.3 premium lineup too, i just don’t play it because it’s bust, i enjoy a challenge that lineup is not a challenge you just hold W and spray to win. i’m looking forward to the increase because it means i might actually have to work for kills with it.
Sounds like a usual soveit main just wanting their under BRed stuff to remain under BRed.
