R-60Ms are best used as R-60s with better initial lock characteristics.
No way out, the PDV HDN mode will performance worse because the problem of radar blind speed range, the TRK MTI is almost best when encountering that situation except the TRK PD

The MiG-23ML can use it’s R-24Rs pretty low to the deck compared to a lot of other missiles found at it’s BR, with the help of MTI mode, of course.
Additionally the R-24Ts are silent killers too, being very long ranged without any warning. These weapons do not belong below 11.3

He is not being serious. He is probably salty because people didnt agree with some other post where he wanted the mig-23ml, or some other premium jet he is struggling against, and he is doing the classic childish response of going to the extreme opposite argument.
The other option is that he was killed by a mig23ml and made yet another salt thread. This is probably the more likely option.
