Not really, most tiger players don’t bother angling tho
You can pen frontally a tiger with apcr (not angling) plus a stab to easily destroy the tiger’s barrel. And with the H1 an aphe to the cupola more easier.
While a Tiger cant pen a Jumbo, it only needs to aim to the mg port, which its damn small, and if the jumbo player use bushes and start dancing, it would be almost impossible to hit it.
the 75mm jumbo probably should be 5.3 instead of 5.7.
its armour is very good but that gun against panthers is blatantly unfair. There’s no beating around the bush with that
anyone with a brain cell knows the D.I.E protocol for heavy tanks anyway. Disarm, Immobilise, Exterminate. Also known as “track and barrel torture” however with such a weak gun the barrel isnt even that high priority target, dist immobilising them and wacking a shell through the MG port or side is plenty.
-1 at 5.3 br 4.3 tanks and 4.7 tanks will suffer against the jumbo and would be a night mare killing.
5.7 is good spot but the issue with ground rb it’s still only 12.7 br when its. 13.7 or 14.0 br 6.7 tanks move to 7.0+ br would help the jumbo.
A lot of the complaints about the pen of the 75mm at 5.7 is fixed by just bringing APCR in your ammo load, it’s not the most lethal round but it’ll give Panthers and Tiger E’s a run for their money. I spawn the Jumbo loads at full uptiers for fun and I’ve done just fine.
Add to this list.
The barrel isn’t a high priority because it’s so small and impossible to hit.
Anyone with a a functioning brain knows it’s a goated 5.7 tank. It’s only frontal weakspot is an mg port that will often bounce.
It has a wide variety of usable rounds, and has a low speed stab with an HMG.
intresting way to say “I cant aim”
yep cant aim.
3.3BR APHE and an APCR lol
.50 cal is always solid but not vehicle defining
If you’d like to prove it, be my guest.
I aim quite well for a controller user.
In fact better than a lot of M&K users

It would be too good
Well clearly I aim better than you my guy. KDr yada yada
The MG port isn’t the toughest weakspot to hit but if you’re trying to hit a Jumbo at like 700+ meters away with anything that doesn’t have high velocity like an 88 or 17pdr it becomes challenging. Not to mention it’s really easy to just hide behind debris or angle behind a wall. Also take into account all the Jumbo players that bush their tanks to oblivion.
A sweaty bushed up Jumbo at 4.3 would be essentially unkillable.
I’ve read some of you guys’s comments and I totally didn’t notice. I put 5.0 I meant to say 5.3 but yeah I meant 5.3 or again just make decompression a little bit better if you keep it at 5.7 because it is still a beast or like you guys said when the new tanks arrive and battle rating go up then the tiger 2 will be 7.0
+1 yes and tell me which one you agree on
-1 no and tell me what you don’t agree on
Thank y’all for the comments.
germany gets the long 75mm on the panzer 4 from 3.7 and that carries all the way to Tiger with ease (I use them at 4.3 and 4.7 a lot as of late and do just as well as in a firefly) and the USSR simply does not struggle at all against anything.
Bushes are another can of worms but im perfectly fine with heavy tanks actually being able to play the heavy tank role.
Heavy tanks such as a Churchill, jumbo or KV ought to soak shells from most angles and be formidable foes, so many heavy tanks are pretty much useless because they get put to BRs where their armour isnt special and they mobility is too far behind to be worthy only the KV-1 family enjoys such a pleasure right now and its a shame.
the MG port is a perfect balancer of a weak spot for the jumbo being pretty obvious and learned from facing the Sherman with incredibly weak guns at the lower BRs.
Those very weak guns can still take out a jumbo in the exact same way they took out the plight of BR Shermans in the rather compressed 2.0-3.7 BR range so a player worth their salt will still know how to punch through, but this time they can probably bouce the m3 canons shell if they position right.
The panther also just lolpens them from half a kilometre, not fair at all. They are only so high because tiger mains have a major skill issue, ill die on that hill any day
rich considering you admit to struggling to shoot out barrels
Waiting for decompression before moving the BR of really any of the mid tier heavy tanks is the best bet.
The (unfortunate) truth is Gaijin takes statistics from spaded vehicles and like 55% of dedicated Jumbo players I see run loads of bushes which seeps into the statistics. A lot of the small ratty TDs are at their BRs because of the existence of bushes.
Sweaty tryhards be sweaty tryhards that statpad to try and claim superiority over newer players instead of being a team player, we see it on this forum all the time and you know when someone is a statpadder in games from how they play.
Even with tryhards and sealclubbers boosting the stats substancially the performance of the jumbo is quite poor, even when you keep in mind that america ground players are just as bad (if not worse nowadays) as the reputation german mains have.
A lot of the small ratty TDs are at their BRs because of the existence of bushes.
yea it certainly helps them. at least they are kept high enough that there isnt more trees full of rather absurdly powerful guns TDs all at the same low BR like we suffer from with sweden and their sweatlord players.
I am NOT a sweatlord I can assure you that
Not all. but sweden sure is infested with a lot of sealclubbers and tryhards and i dont just mean the annual SAV spam incident
