So let me get this right, Alpha jet is literally amongst the worst jets at the BR (already was when it was 8.7) and it’s even speculated to go HIGHER in air to air battles
It has one of the worst guns in the entire game (no, gripen bk27 is NOT the same at all, it has 4x APHE or 4X HEI per every 5 rounds and it’s starter is a high velocity explosive shell, NOT A PRACTICE TRACER FOLLOWED BY INERT ANTI TANK ROUNDS EVEN ON THE AIR TARGET BELT
Alpha jet E has DEFA, which are also another speshul kind of doodoofardiger ammo, AND IT DOESN’T EVEN HAVE FLARES.
Alpha jet also has a weird half-arsed flight model, the impossibility to lead in deflected shots and a gun placement that doesn’t help in straight forward or head ons either, and no, don’t get me started with the “it’s an attacker” trope, the AM-1 Mauler is an attacker and it can keep up with 109s, the A10 can dogfight most stuff that engages, so can the SU-25, the A5C outrates MiG19PT, the Viggens are attackers and outdogfight everything at their BR, and so on.
I’m asking it to go for 8.7 and it would still be at least 0.7br overtiered.
it’s already amongst the worst flight models of the BR, it was already underperforming enough back when it was 8.7, literally an a4e that doesn’t break upon over g’ing.
what does non flight by wire have to do? the mig15 bis dogs it, the yak23 dogs it, the mig17 dogs it, all the panthers clown it even in the engine thrust department AND armament, the f86a5 dogs it, the f86f25 dogs it, the ariete dogs it, the g91 dogs it, the Super Etendard dogs it, even the closest flight model to the alpha jet, the La-174, dogs it. If you lose to an Alpha Jet is like losing to a fw190 d9 on a yak3.
To add to the problem, the bk27 is the community’s choice for worst jet gun in the game. No, NOT the j39’s HVEI shells, non swedish Mauser 27 literally does have nothing but practice rounds and armor piercing rounds. Even the air target belts has ONLY a very low TNT mass HE shell. The gun doesn’t do much to tanks either, and it has been nerfed once again. Because they weren’t useless enough now you can’t cope with four kill assists and a crash every game, but without any half frag at all.

Nobody should complain if they are playing attacker when you are complaining about a fighter jet
and ‘they should’ve unlocked fighter jets instead’, but also everyone should accept your cope when you are complaining about attacker jet, and need to agree about ‘it should be moved down’?
How about you taste your own medicine and ‘unlock something else instead’?
Why in the actual hell do you think a plane with 9M would be 11.3. it would most likely be closer to the 11.7-12.0. what is a br where the alpha jet is just irrelevant
A-10C is 11.7 with 4x 9M, but it also has more countermeasures, a great RWR (AJ has none), MAWS, a better gun with more ammo, HMS/HMD, and very good ground attack weapons allowing it to easily farm ground units for extra rewards.
With all these downsides and the frequent complaints that A-10C is often unable to affect the outcome of the battle, 11.3 looks perfectly fine.
