I’m loving both the Ariete and Abrams, not too sure why everybody cries about either.
I just wish they didn’t take away M322 from the Ariete… Best round in the game + 5s reload really would make up for the nonexistent armor.

I also love the Abrams especially the M1A1 with 5 sec reload at 11.3 putting it with an F5E is a really good lineup but afterwards is complete garbage.
I don’t know if Gaijin intentionally made the turret ring much weaker on the SEPV2,SEP,M1A2 than the ones on the M1A1s.

He’s not wrong though. I’ve seen genuine concerns regarding US vehicles only for them to be disregarded and ridiculed under the veil of “skill issue”, “muh abrams” , etc.
It gets quite annoying because as soon as someone starts bringing up the abrams in the context of it getting a “buff”, some mf who has nothing better to do posts a bingo card (you know exactly what I’m talking about) which derails the entire topic.
But this wouldn’t be an issue if specific people (you know the ones) stopped posting low iq opinions.

No, T-80U doesn’t need to move down. It’s still perfectly playable at its BR and some people even consider it a better 3rd spawn than the T-72B3 in a 12.0 lineup.

By far the biggest complaint over the years has been the turret ring, which even when buffed won’t stop any relatively strong main cannon dart, so the improvement there is pretty negligible at best. M1s got the reload buff and some even got a better round, but they still seem to have shitty stats overall.
Like it or not, plenty of M1 woes are due to subpar players being upset their vehicle isn’t immune to damage.

The T-64s has great turret protection in its respective br, it’s almost as good as Chieftain Mk10’s and trading fire in a hull down position seemingly not very risky. Only thing that could reliably pen you through the turret is Sabra.

No turret ring is invincible, but buffing it to 200mm of protection would help alot against light vehicles, that’s why they’ve been saying but we can’t forget about no hull improvements whatsoever from the base M1 to the SEPV2.

If only autocannon vehicles at top tier weren’t a dying breed. Buffing the armor there won’t really help you much in most engagements. I’d say that changing the placement of the hydraulic pump would be a much better buff, but I rarely even see that being talked about.

And the T-series aren’t? I have surely 1-2 shot killed a lot of them today.
2A7s and Strv 122s make up the top 5 MBTs by a longshot. 6-9 is the Type 10, TKX, SEPv1 and BVM in any order really.
With how many 2S38s/BMP-2Ms you see running around? it would be a massive help for all Abrams especially during sales.
Although yeah the M1/IPM1/M1A1 would benefit most from it.

So you saying that you’d take a SEPV1 which is exactly like the SEPV2 but without the add-on side armor over a BVM?
Pre turret basket/vertical drive nerf? Yes, every time any day of the week.
Post turret basket/vertical drive nerf? Still yes, but not as massively yes as before.
Imo the reduced mobility from the 4t of mostly useless side ERA just ruins the SEPv2 for me.
