Regarding the drop speed limit on gbu53 we will have to see. You should be able to drop over Mach 1 since Gbu53 is just a SDB1 with seeker on it and different warhead. The pylon used for GBU 53 is designed for supersonic drops with SBDs which is reflected in game.

Oh I agree that they should, but I have a feeling thst they might use it as a “balancing” tool.
WW2 vehicles being mixed with post war ones is a BR compression issue, not a lack of WW2 content. Adding more WW2 tanks won’t fix matchmaking, it just adds more filler. The game already has most meaningful WW2 vehicles, what it needs is decompression, not another slightly different Sherman.
An update focused around more top BR MBT stuff? Nah. I’ll pass on that.
An update focused around french produced middle-high BR light armor? Now that’s a good idea.

I’m not sure the M44 and M55 being at 4.0 or whatever is a compression issue.
Beforehand most of the post war tanks at low BR’s were just Sweden’s TT and the M41, now we just have post-war copy paste SPG slop in like 5 trees.

Those who win with such additions are either Germany or those who get german 2a8-ish machines like italy. So its again horde of 2a8s added to break balance.

My critique is that Gaijin has for years neglected immersion and pushed power creep in the mid tiers, and the source has been post war vehicles. midtiers is a bastardization with heatslingers, cold war vehicles and the like
I can igree that my comment is misplaced int this thread though, as I realize modern mbts are not gonna appear in midtier.

Which is just simply not true in this case, it doesn’t take Gaijin less effort to add a modern vehicle than a ww2 vehicle into the game than it does.
