It has been months since the last update and the new one is ready to drop next week and still the radar bugs are not fixed, if your not in a euro fighter or rafale or some Russian plane your radar does not work properly especially the American radars I can literally be in my 15e and not get a single TWS track on radar from the enemy I have to use HMSPD to kill people now days.
Ever since the last update when the game went live it broke the top tier radars for a lot of planes and I don’t think this it is even broken this is a silent nerf where certain planes from making them to good what’s the point in having a radar that can see 100 plus miles if it can’t see anything at all. I could record every match in my air RB and you could see something is wrong I’m not sure why more people aren’t talking about this of course I have bug reported this and nothing is being done many people have and nothing is being done. Please people we need to wake up my game play style isn’t fly to the center and use helmet sight to get air kills I like to BVR the best I can and my game play experience is just ruined since the last update I barely even play anymore because of this.
I literally have a video of this I can’t even post in here. It will not find any targets and the targets are not even 10 miles in front of me and still can’t get any lock without using HMD
Fix the damn radars!!!
The Typhoon has the worst radar at 14.0.

I’m staring directly at the targets and even trying to find the ones below it and it literally will not let me see a single thing no matter what I do what setting I try I have to be under 12 miles to see a single target
I’ve had issues with radar search following a target in TWS, then keeping the searching window in that position. I imagine this is the issue you’re experiencing:
Radar Searching in Centre of view (TWS)
Radar facing forward and center
After TWS acquired target, plane maneuvered out of radar gimble limit, but radar retains TWS search in left side hiding any target directly in front of you
Right now, a guy could be flying right into you and you wouldn’t be able to see him
If this is the issue, try this:
Bind “Reset Radar / IRST Direction to Boresight” in Controls > Aircraft > Weaponry
This will reset you back to the centered view if this is the issue
(Note you can set this to the same button as radar on/off and it will still work)

Your radar is pointing straight up
I’ve already done that, no matter what I do it will not find or see targets
Your not seeing the entire video believe me I try every angle move the radar up and down
Its really really hard to see being rotated to the right.
But your radar is pointing straight up in the entirity of that clip

Sorry bad part of the clip but the entire video is 2:36 long with first minute and a half is just me moving the radar up and down point the plane at every angle I have don’t every thing possible been playing for years I know how to use the radar lol every since the last patch this happened it made it nearly impossible to use also the best part is the ghost targets constant ghost targets planes that don’t exist I launch at
this setting handle the tilt of your radar
This will move this box up and down on the radar panel
you want it in the middle to be inline with your nose
In that clip:
its at the max elevation the entire time
This setting will instantly reset it

Ghosts contact effect everyone at the moment.
PDV is a bad mode for one.
And I only use standard TWS on all radars.
HDN is a niche mode to use.
As for radar position, your radar is going all over the place.
