The Great French Revolution shook the entire world, and one of the first and most important events of that time was the storming of the Bastille prison-fortress on July 14th, 1789. This date was not celebrated for almost a hundred years until 1880, when July 14th became a National Holiday. For this day, a large military parade was introduced in 1880, then transferred to the Champs-Élysées in 1980.

In honor of Bastille Day, we’ve created a Moments of Valor video dedicated to France, and there are discounts on rare vehicles and packs in the store, and a themed decal!

  • The Milan is a solid multi-role fighter. Thanks to its large payload and impressive performance characteristics, it’s usually best used for ground attack. It’s no slouch against air targets either, thanks to its good performance and ability to use AIM-9B Sidewinder missiles.

  • The S.O.4050 Vautour IIN features AA-20 Nord air-to-air missiles, which can be tricky to hit air targets with. Therefore, it’s best to use this aircraft to destroy enemy bases and ground vehicles, since it can carry up to 4,400 kg of ordnance.

  • You can find the decal in the “Holidays” tab in the customization menu.

I’m genuinely getting sick and tired of the exclusion of console players from almost all sales in-game, I would’ve loved to get one of these packs but I simply can’t and this applies to many other individuals out there as well (regardless if you play on PC or not as well lol).

Excluding consoles from these sales is really disheartening. I genuinely feel like second class to gaijin.

Normally you’d just recommend someone upgrade to a basic pc and transfer their account… But the account transfer isn’t even an option.

The duration in which you have to wait for your account to be transferred from a console to PC account takes a while, and during said time you can’t access the game which is off-putting for many people including myself (one main reason I never did so).

You really shouldn’t be forced to do such a thing anyways, War Thunder shouldn’t discriminate between platforms and every individual regardless of platform should have access to everything equally.

It’s not discrimination, it’s legal agreements between platforms, sony and Microsoft have their own arrangements between gaijin hence why there’s a marketplace and different sales on PC. Gaijin would love nothing more than to have a larger marketplace. However they can sort out the account transfer situation.

I already have the F1C-200 but not the Narval, if I buy the air pack will I still get the camo for the F1C?

Gaijin getting more and more stingy :/ It used to be when you already had the vehicles in a pack you’d get the extras for playing a couple of games, now you can buy the camos??? I got all the vehicles in these packs… no extra skins for me, these practices do nothing for customer retention.

Me too, I’m becoming more and more stingy when it comes to spending cash in WT…

A400M would be great to have in-game. Maybe as AI targets for Sim or in some campaign missions.

Also would be great if the devs would release some of the assets used in these videos onto WT Live as user models, that way we can use them ourselves in custom missions instead of the assets being abandoned.

Again, that is on the console not on Gaijin. Consoles make their own rules, end of story. Sony can quite literally say “Tomorrow we remove War Thunder from our platform” and they can do it, same with microsoft and XBox… Many other games have walked away from consoles because they control every aspect of everything (including sales, Elite Dangerous is a perfect example of it).

If Sony and Microsoft dont want to allow access to stuff, they dont have to allow it.

While this is true, these sales not coming to consoles isnt due to Sony or Microsoft not working with gaijin, its the otherway around. There re multiple ways gaijin could introduce these mechanics and products in their game that would comply with the consoles TOS or they could just give the console companies their standard cut of the sales. But the issue is gaijin has refused to work with them on any of it.

The ussue of this is 100% on gaijins end. It has been for years now. Believe it or not, there was a time when the best deals for WT was on the PS4.

Could’ve been better if Gaijin also giving GE Skins for Rafale and Mirage 2000 again.
