Moments of Valor: Brazil

Brazil celebrates Independence Day on September 7th, and this year the largest South American country turns 202 years old. We’re marking this date with a new cinematic video from the Moments of Valor series dedicated to Brazil.

Additionally in honor of this day, we’ve created a bundle with a 50% discount that features two aircraft used by the Brazilian Air Force, the AMX A-1 and Meteor Reaper attack aircraft. By purchasing this bundle, you’ll receive the unique 1st Fighter Group camouflage created by the player BHmaster for the Meteor Reaper, as well as the “Wings that protect” title. You can also purchase both packs separately with a 30% discount, by doing this you will only receive the camouflage for the Meteor Reaper.

Players on all platforms who already own the Meteor Reaper (or purchased it during the event for Golden Eagles) can earn the camouflage by playing 3 battles with the Meteor Reaper before September 16th.

Players on all platforms who already own the AMX A-1 can also earn the title by playing 3 battles with the AMX A-1 before September 16th.

Additionally, the following camouflages are available in-game for Golden Eagles:

  • P-47D-28 (USA) — livery of Lieutenant Pedro de Lima Mendes from the Italian campaign, where Brazilian pilots took part. This camouflage was created by the player LeiteArts10;
  • Leopard 1A5 (Germany) — Encouracado camouflage of the Brazilian Armored Vehicle School;
  • M41 (USA) — camouflage of the mechanized reconnaissance regiment of the 2nd Army of the Brazilian Armed Forces.

Idk why there is no forum post for this, but here it is.

The Leopard 1A5 skin seems a bit low effort on Gaijin’s part. They literally took the default green skin and put some decals on it. The real thing uses the three-tone camo.

Anybody know what these are??

A-26 I think

In the game as the A-26B.

Brazil originally used the B-26 name changing it to A-26 late in service. This is the reverse of the US situation where it started as an A and became a B after the Martin B-26 was retired and light attackers fell from favour.

Yooo, I want counter narcos and counter insurgency ops in WT.

Aaanyway love these mini events. Good work on the video, you guys have talent.

wasn’t the encouraçado skin was made by the comunity and then added to the game by gaijin ?

Don’t think so, only the P-47 skin was player-made

Vulcan when?

and

Helis (as AI or playable aircraft) + CAS for infantry for air sim when?

I think it’s just a player model

Yeah… but still…

Escorting a flight of Vulcans (AI) in Sim would be a dream come true. F-86s at all jet BRs are just boring now

(let alone actually having one as a playable aircraft)

About Time

@Smin1080p_WT can we get a response from the devs about the 3 tone camo?

I think having them as AI targets is how we will most likely see strategic bombers. Maybe as nuke planes too, for their appropriate eras.

Maybe they could be done as a special unlock, like the Maus, so they are available but not part of the tech tree.

Yep. The only 2 ways I can think to place them (and other strategic bombers) is either as event premiums or in their own seperate tech tree, that would function kinda like how Helis do.

(an Iberoamerican tech tree would look good here)

Those are A-26B-10s.

Have you added pictures in the bugreport? You should have ingame pictures and real life pictures portraying the tank.
