This is something that’s been on my mind for a while, so I wanted to express my opinions here before the thread inevitably gets locked for being too popular with players.
I’ve had the Type 81(C) for a while now, but the state of the RP economy for individual vehicles is painfully lethargic. I play very casually since I have a demanding job for a living, but I tend to do decently well with AA vehicles, as I can usually get 1-3 air vehicles per match. In my most recent game, I killed two aircraft, but I only got 2K RP even though I have premium. At this rate, of ~2K RP per match, it’ll take me roughly 84 games to finish spading this vehicle, despite having a premium account as aforementioned. I find this very frustrating as I feel I am decently successful in deploying AA vehicles, despite having no search radar or guns to defend myself from ground vehicles. It should really be no surprise that I play WT so casually when there is no incentive from the developers to give the players any sort of benefit from sinking their time into this game.
I’m very disappointed with the current state of module grind, especially for AA vehicles. Gaijin claims to be attempting to balance CAS with more potent SPAA vehicles, but such banal gestures are meaningless if they dump vehicles in players’ laps with no good way to grind out these vehicles other than to sink hundreds of games into it. I’m honestly not looking forward to grinding out the Tan-SAM Kai, and I feel less motivated to play anti-CAS and just play other vehicles, which may or may not be the effect Gaijin intended.
