I believe that the usefulness of the AIM-9L modification on the AV-8B Plus is extremely limited.

Even after unlocking the AIM-9L modification, the two additional AIM-9L missiles conflict with the hardpoint positions of the stock AMRAAM missiles provided by default. In practice, there is no meaningful advantage or incentive to choose AIM-9Ls over AMRAAMs in the current in-game environment.

As a result, this modification provides little to no practical benefit even when unlocked.

Therefore, it would be preferable either to reposition the stock AMRAAM hardpoints to the innermost stations so that they do not conflict with Sidewinders, or to remove the AIM-9L modification altogether, as has been done on other aircraft around BR 14.3.

Congrats on learning the most useless function in the game. That’s 90% of the mods that should be stock. Not to mention the 120’s could only be used on two of the hard points IIRC.
