So far the aerial maps are sort of outdated in the historical context of modern aircrafts fighting in them. There were a handful of conflicts recently, why not add them to the game?
Maps like Tehran, Crimea, Caracas, Damascus, and Beirut where modern aircrafts performed in, would be good additions to the game.

I think for 4.5 gen aircraft and 5th gen air craft, the current maps are fine since they only use r-771/aim-120c5 equivalents.
Only until they add newer, longer ranged missiles like meteor or equivalents is when I think different maps are needed.
Wouldn’t make sense if they add 5th gen before adding R-37, Meteor, AIM-174B, etc.
And hopefully we get new maps with them as well.
making the falkland islands their actual size would have been a good start.
a lot of maps with EC modes can already accommodate such aircraft so its just a matter of using them more often

I mean they’re already here with aesa typhoon, j10c, su-30sm2, etc.
Only ones that aren’t here are the heavy weights for America with the f15ex and the su-35/j-16 for Russia/china

I want a New York map with search lights and AA fire everywhere. And make it look good too yeah? Appart from the vehicles, most of the game looks terrible, I get Gaijin itself is mostly engineers and coders who probably have near zero artistic background/training but at least contract someone who does?
And nothing would change in standard ARB
You’d probably spend half of battle trying to avoid missiles raining down on you and other half (if you survive) getting your way to middle of map where most of action takes place which by the time you do, either enemy team is gone or your team is gone
