Mixing the Tec-Trees sucks TT

I personally hate it to fight alwas agenst the same tank i drive.
if you like that type of playing, than why should we play anny nation, mix everthing togerer and it would be the same.
i kane live with the hungaray italian kombination and ther Leo and KF41 (wish it for germany too) Sweeden have no leos they have there own overwor and the Finn ok i am fine too.

But if anny nation get the Leo and T-80, Where is the goal to grind every nation? idk why you still sould paly up tier if every one drives the same. no wonder most people like the WW2 tanks more.you have difference

as Example the Fance and the Netherland Leos. Why not germany?
You can say, they fight togeter in WW2 but whats than with Japan and Thailand?
they ware enemys, they have the same history relasionship and now are in the same tec-tree.

and what will happen with South Korea (should they come one day)? put it to china like North Korea or where will they end when they will come?(i hope one day)
they can´t be with China or Japan.
you could put them to america, what i thing makes no sense because you have a splitt nation like Korea in different tec-trees. but germany with there DDR and BND ware also a splitt nation and are now fusionated.

I can understand the problem.
one side the history and on the other side the moderen share of technology.

So shouild smal nations get split accurate for the history part or be all in a mixed new Tree???
but that would not help to play no more agenst the same tanks as the once in your tree.

every on has the Leo, T-72, BTR, ZSU-57, or the jets like Su-… and F-…

pleas tell me where is the motivation to play any nation if you alredy have the same tanks in your tree.

Better play sweeden so you have germa, english, Russian and Sweeden tanks and dont need to play with the blind german teams. or China and you have Chinase, American and Russian tanks

But i want to hear your opinnion about the mixing.

You are cherrypicking. There are more copypaste leopard 2s in game right now than deserved ones with unique tech like STRV 122s.

Yeah and it’s going to be another copy-sloppy update with very few new vehicles added that further dilutes the game into WoT style matchmaking.

Neither did anybody else?

Japan and Thailand have not only have centuries of trade and close diplomatic relations, they fought together since the 1593s on and off, including Japan providing military assistance for Thailand to retake lost territories from colonial France before Japan entered the war.
Thailand also allowed Japanese troops to move through their territory to launch their attack on Singapore (albeit under protest), Japan did become more and more overbearing and began acting like an occupation force later in the war and eventually the Thai people over throw their military government and changed sides.
Regardless Japan and Thailand have over 400 years of both trade and military cooperation (look up the “red seal ships” and King Naresuan battle against Burmese Crown Prince Phra Maha Uparaja where King Naresuan had 500 Japanese Samurai serving with his army)

Already announced that they will be introduced as a united Korea tech tree the same as the CCP/Taiwan TT

It sure has very few vehicles….The matchmaking is also already a mess with western and eastern vehicles all over the place and it won’t change because Gaijin won’t change.

id honestly prefer some paper vehicles to fill gaps in some trees like as long as there balanced properly i see no problem like theres a bunch of prototypes they could add to fill gaps that are semi built or fully working instead they add copy slop and make the unique stuff premium

Netherlands being in Frances Tree is still the most ridicilous thing ever…especially since the Dutch Army is literally integrating/integrated with Germanys and historically, culturally and ethnically are also tightly related.

A united Korea Tree has already been confirmed

Overall, everyone hates copy-paste vehicles, but some countries may have their own unique vehicles that are not enough to full fill a entire tech-tree. So the question is what to do in this situation.
Gaijin‘s chosen approach is to introduce as a subtree, but it is clear that the placement of the subtree under which country is still a question.Similarly, in order to ensure the coherence of the subtree, more copy-pastes have to be introduced.
The national alliance tree of unique vehicles has been mentioned by players before, but there are also similar issues. Some countries may not have good relations, and putting them together can still cause controversy (such as the Balkans and Korea).I think it is feasible to establish a national unity tree in a certain sense, but dividing it based on so-called “historical relations” and “diplomatic relations” will inevitably lead to controversy. A better approach is to only divide it based on geography, such as “Middle East tree”, “Pan Asia tree”, "South America tree“.Vehicles that cannot integrate into the tech-tree can be introduced into the game through events, which should avoid excessive copying and pasting and the problem of small country technology trees (such as leo2a4SG for Pan Asia tree or German tree).

yeah… an M-41 and an M-48 are such great and interesting additions to the German TT compared to the Panther 2 and KT 10.5cm and a C&P F-84G is soooo much more unique than the R2Y2

Well this was bound to happen in any realistic tank game.

Countries purchased tanks that they didn’t build.

Also, the reason to grind all 10 tech trees is unique lineups not in other tech trees.
You cannot substitute lineups in one tech tree in another, as it’s just not possible.

Germany has different Leopard 2s, so you’re going to miss out on unique German lineups you cannot build in France, Sweden, or Italy.

A tiny <1% minority of people hate the extremely low amount of copy-paste in War Thunder.*

Because the other 99% of people know that the vast majority of vehicles added are unique, and more unique vehicles are added every update.

For example all sub-trees in War Thunder are mostly unique vehicles.
And only Hungary was different in introduction where it was mostly copy-paste, while all other tech trees were introduced mostly unique vehicles.

We gotta acknowledge Finland though, all the unique stuff is premium/event and all the copypaste fills the tree
