Mitsubishi Type 92 (2MR8) ( 九二式偵察機)
The Mitsubishi Type 92 (2MR8) is a Japanese reconnaissance aircraft created in 1931. It was the first mass-produced Japanese aircraft with a purely Japanese engine. Between 1932 and 1934, between 210 and 334 Mitsubishi Type 92 aircraft were produced. This aircraft was replaced by the Nakajima Ki-4.
History
In 1930, the Japanese army needed a reconnaissance aircraft to complement the Kawasaki Type 88 reconnaissance planes. The new aircraft was also intended to serve as an artillery observation and ground support plane. Therefore, in 1930, the requirements for the new reconnaissance aircraft were sent to the Mitsubishi factory. At Mitsubishi, work began on two aircraft with the factory designations 2MR7 and 2MR8. The 2MR7 aircraft turned out to be a failure, and Mitsubishi requested the help of engineer Bernice from France. The Japanese army preferred the solution proposed by Bernice and ordered the focus to be on the 2MR8 aircraft (the 2MR7 prototype was built anyway). The work on the Mitsubishi 2MR8 was led by engineer Bernice, who was joined by engineers Fumihiko Kono, Ijiro Takahashi, and Masayoshi Mizuno. During the design, the focus was on the aircraft’s agility and maneuverability. The first prototype, equipped with a Mitsubishi A2 engine and a wing area of 32 m², was ready to fly in March 1931. The first flight took place on March 28, 1931, in Kakamigahara, Japan, and the pilot was test pilot Nako. The first prototype along with the second proved to be poorly successful, and a number of modifications had to be implemented in the third prototype, the Mitsubishi 2MR8. The third prototype had wings with an area of 26 m², a shorter fuselage, and was 100 kg lighter. The aircraft was equipped with a Mitsubishi A2 Kai-3 engine and reached a maximum speed of 194 km/h, which was below the army’s required maximum speed of 215 km/h. Therefore, a fourth prototype was created, which was equipped with a Mitsubishi A5 engine and solved all the problems of the previous prototypes. The fourth 2MR8 prototype reached a maximum speed of 220 km/h and in 1932 was adopted by the Japanese army as the Type 92 Reconnaissance Aircraft (九二式偵察機). Mitsubishi Type 92 aircraft were produced from 1932 to 1934, when it was replaced in production by the superior Nakajima Ki-4. The Mitsubishi Type 92 aircraft was used from 1932 to 1936 by the Japanese army in China and Manchuria. Additionally, China purchased a couple of Mitsubishi Type 92 aircraft from Japan in 1934 and 1935, and these aircraft were used at the beginning of the Second Sino-Japanese War. Between 210 and 334 Mitsubishi Type 92 aircraft were produced.

Construction description
The Mitsubishi Type 92 is a two-seat reconnaissance aircraft with a metal construction, covered in fabric, and a parasol wing. The aircraft is equipped with fixed landing gear. The Mitsubishi Type 92 is powered by a Mitsubishi A5 nine-cylinder air-cooled radial engine with a takeoff power of 354 kW (475 hp). The aircraft’s propeller is a two-blade metal type. The Mitsubishi Type 92 is armed with two fixed Type 89 7.7 mm machine guns in the nose and initially one, later two movable synchronized Type 89 7.7 mm machine guns in the observer’s position. Up to 120 kg of bombs can be mounted under the fuselage.

Summary
The Mitsubishi Type 92 (2MR8) is an interesting aircraft for Japan in War Thunder. This plane could serve as a fighter or a CAS aircraft, and in the future as a reconnaissance plane. I encourage you to discuss in the comments and to share your own knowledge on this subject.
Finally, I apologize for the linguistic and logical errors because unfortunately English is not my main language and I had to use google translator.
