And aam-4 performance bug report is accepted for almost a year, so there is no guarantee that gaijin will fix a fing

For those unaware, the target is not supposed to disappear on radar like that.
This is an AESA radar, which is supposed to keep targets tracked even outside the radar scope (up to a certain amount ofc)
Results in the radar being an insanely schizophrenic mess, even losing lock of targets soft-locked in TWS

It’s a Japanese vehicle bro, they never get fixed. Type 10, TK-X, Tan-SAM Kai, Type 81C, F-2A, F-2A ADTW, Type 89… pretty much all are broken or unreasonably nerfed in some way

Glad soneone else noticed.
I played the F2 a bunch last night and its not just losing lock/ switching… the radar has the bug where targets are phasing in and out of existence.
Needs fixing as priority as 13.0.with sparrows is hard enough. People pay money for this jet gaijin and its broken AF
Idk what gaijin did but it’s just broken in the dev it’s better but the radar is almost acting like a mechanical radar not sure why gaijin made it this way.
J/APG-2 is literally a 2012~ upgrade from the original J/APG-1 it should be way better
And I’m not seeing any positive changes being done on it

Its wierd that its only happening on the f2
Iv seen the dissapearing target bug before but it happened to all jets at the time
F2 radar is still broken.
If theres no fix it needs lower BR.
12.7 and 13.3 respectivly
It doesn’t need to go down in br, it still does fine although a bit more painfully.
13.7 has the least fox 3 at 13.7
13.0 is now just a worse f15a
The jet lives on its radar which now doesnt work…

Lowkey if they gave it its proper ESM and fixed its radar, and fixed its missing target filtering, and fixed its underperforming fm, they’d be in a fairly decent spot.

It already is in a decent spot, especially when the radar works.
the FM is also already god tier.
radar just needs fixing, everything else is an additional improvement to an already great plane
