Very curious to see how they handle the ASM-2 seeker considering there was no changes between the last dev server
With the update coming so soon (I am guessing this week, with how soon the second dev server is ending), would Gaijin put in some half baked stats on live and keep it, or will they low effort it and never change it from the Komoran copypaste stats? 🤔
I have very little faith the devs will give us something cool or good with so little time left.
Does F-1 has access(like it should have) to the ASM-1 in the dev server? It seems like they are probably gonna rush both missiles and then fix them later…which means in 1 year or 2 probably
They weren’t fixed, they were butchered.
What they did instead of actually fixing them, was remove a huge chunk of the rear of the pylon in order to make it shorter so that the flaps wouldn’t clip.

The F-2 ADTW is unchanged, it still has the old pylons, but they are still too large, incorrectly placed, and will clip through the flaps.

Whoever is doing the model doesn’t quite get it.
loadout has been improved but ADTW can still carry loadouts impossible on the A.

So, still no ir seeker for ASM-2
ASMs now can be fired at aircraft if you get a lock, not like it does anything, thing’s slow af, and doesn’t pull any Gs
Stats are still wrong, HE amount, speed, etc.
For some reason GMTI now lets me lock on non moving targets like airfield AAA and some times even stopped tanks
I managed to get some kills on a random ground battle, (both ai and a player vehicle) but i had all the time to select targets and get them lock, also fire them at like 5km, so no realistic scenario.
I want to test the IR ASM-2s so bad, plz gaijin, add them already.
Also sniper pod is really good, did the ADTW ever used it?

It is practically impossible, non of the openly availible sources has anything about HMD ever being implemented, nor there a single photo of pilots with JHMCS or Shimadzu HMD even in ADTW owned F-2s. If it was ever completely tested information is very likely classified
A new update for the test server came out. Why doesnt the ASMs have sea skimming? They just only added it to the german one.
I don’t think this is unique to the F-2 but, since the drogue chute replenishes itself automatically after use (without needing to re-arm), and the F-2 doesn’t have the chute in a closed container with some kind of lid, once the chute is cut away, a new one comically grows into place lol.
You don’t notice it on planes like the Phantoms because once the chute is cut, the container’s lid closes. Not sure if this is worth a bug report or not

The SAS system - in Damping mode seems uncontrolled, it’s like it’s still in manual control mode.
Another problem is with the TWS which identifies the target but when it tries to make the first lock it simply loses the radar target.
