I was going to ask if anyone could get more data on F-2 just so we have an objective baseline, but what Percussion has seems like a good start, but more data is always good
Personally, I’m more interested in low speed turn data, though up to mach 1.0 is also useful
JAS-39 has 2 less AAMs while having similar flight performance.
J-10 has [marginally] worse flight performance.
F-15s are under-BR’d.
Su-27SM has a weak radar.
I wanted to try the ASM-2s but they are not IR yet, the penetration looks pretty low compared to SAP AGM65s, and TNT is lower than KH38s, so i wonder how it wold do against tanks
Max instructor turn at about 400kph IAS you get nearly 20º/s which is great. The AJ will do 19-19.5 IIRC (The AJ in max instructor turn will get slower in the 370kph ish and about 18º/s)
At 500kph you getting nearly 22deg/s sustained.
Its hard for me to test at higher speeds because I’m test driving the TT F-2 without having the jet unlocked with a good crew. But its not on typhoon levels of sustained turn rate, maybe similar to the rafale or a gripen.
When you are going like 900kph IAS and do a max turn, you can sustain 30deg/s for a very “long” time and you wont drop your speed much.
Later today, might try to see if my nvidia overlay can capture the WTRTI overlay over the game, if not, I can’t be bothered to make a video.
ah double standards like always from gaijin. SU-30SM with double rail and R-77-1 never seen but it’s ok… this game gotten really worse
@Smin1080p_WT
Why the developers are doing this? So many fanatsy loadouts, especially for russia for modern air stuff. but for other nations isn’t ok to do that? And here it is a balancing not powercreeping like otherthings.
If they do things right with the ASM-2s, they could be like japanese equivalent to the KH38s, I’m not sure about the damage since they have less TNT and less pen
