6 ARH is probably a necessary measure. It should be realistic before it is historical. Rafale is originally 6 ARH.

It wouldn’t be necessary if it came earlier. It can fit into 13.7 meta quite easy without any addtions, with just it’s real performance. Rafale had 6 missiles initially, but was upgraded later to carry 8 missiles. In the game we have indian version of rafale C F3, that is able to carry 8 missiles
8 missiles was necessary right after it’s coming, but now with 6 missiles it would be balanced
This isn’t a reliable source, however looking at the 6 heavy-duty underwing pylons they all have identical markings so we can very well assume they have identical capabilities (except the very inner ones being wet pylons of course)
Japan got hydras, however it was fitted on helicopters such as the AH-1S and AH-64D
We also forgot that the AAM-3 is just a long-range 9M. This may be a terrible mismatch. There is still no BTT.

Not even just that, they’re distinct CRL variants with slight differences. So not only does it have the markings and connectors, but we also know it’s not just for shared parts.
Specifically the inner ones are the ones I mean. The outer stations 2/10 only have a physical adapter for LAMS-6, but seemingly no provisions for other weapons. Stations 5/7 (the wet wing pylons) are a distinct variant of the CRL that still seemingly has everything needed to use ASM/MRM weaponry and are confirmed to carry bombs.
Keep in mind they’re not F-16 pylons, but the common rail launcher also used on the Harrier II, where they are known to be able to carry both MRMs and fuel tanks

Hopefully gaijin is just trying to stay close to reality so we only see 4+4 in the promos, but I’ll keep playing F-2 no matter what.

Im hoping 6 AAM will be possible if the devs allow it bit later (the missile pylons on the fuel tank stations are clearly right there)

Yes, since ASM 6 exists there is no reason to prevent it.

At the end of the ENG stream, the radar scan rate of the ADTW (Why did they have to make a premium version?) looked rather fast compared to other radars I’ve seen. The F-2A could be faster because it isn’t the ADTW. I guess we just have to wait till the RUS stream
Pleasantly surprised they gave the F-2 the correct armaments, now, it still has a lot of issues, but atleast that’s not one of them.

The pylons are very clearly marked for it, and have the connectors openly visible.
