Mitsubishi F-2

I have a bad feeling🫣

No.

Wait for F-2A Early/XF-2A premium. If we get F-2 this update, I’m pretty sure Gaijin will add rank 8 premium as well.

I am maybe too high on Hopium

you will see it, in like 20 years after gaijin delaying it for the 90th time…

Oh please no, I am already cooking the X-2 / DMU / F-X (GCAP) thread, don’t give me even more work with a new F-2 thread 💀

dont care about leaklists, they are mostly stuff which might get added/wishes…

This is straight from the most credible source i.e basically 100% coming unless a delay happens

U ready for the most basic version of the F-2A lol

6 bvr missle load!

Looks like they figured it themself, I am surprised.

are you ready for it to be broken for 5 months lol

Tbh im surprised they went with the fuel tank pylon and not the outer IR pylon for BVR. They basically gave us the best theoretical loadout option. But we’ll see more info during the dev stream because it feels too good to be true.

Me last? year: “They’re likely more comfy researching for longer because F-15JM exists.”
Boy… I know I’m okay at calling behavior, but that’s nice to be entirely on the nose.

Very excited to play F-2A with a realistic flight model. :)
Our time has come!

Wonder where they pulled out the sixth ARH missile loadout from since there doesn’t seem to be any proof of it

It would be from Japan if it exists. English speaking explicit sources won’t have much cause it’s not an export aircraft to begin with, and those are wet pylons so they’re of course going to have fuel tanks most of the time.

Though there are images that could be seen as very convincing they’re capable of equipping the weapons.

There is no source for six ARH. The only way to get to the six ARH conclusion is by comparing close up pictures of the main pylons.

And before I’ve to repeat myself; all six most inner pylons seem to have the very same electrical specifications. We figured this out last year already.

We have pictures of the pylons and knowledge of shared electrics; however, we don’t have explicit evidence that is a guaranteed “Yes.” in our hands.

Gaijin, and the contractors they work with, have it easier as they can and do work with companies to get information.

Thank you for posting in a manner where your posts contain my thoughts, helps everyone understand my position by reading your posts.

I mean, chances are DMM did the research here instead of Gaijin. Stuff like the inner pylons using what appears to be MRM rails is something so specific that it seems more similar to the other niche Japanese info DMM has gotten for some vehicles in the past.

This also gives me hope for things like the Shimadzu HMD (that even on the forum was only found less than a day ago) and detailed flight model.
