Hey. A report would be best for this, since it’s how the Eurofighter was resolved.
The AAM-3 seems to follow the launched missile even while the target is in A/B.

sorry that it took a while but the bug report for the stock loadout is now up
It’s because that’s how the IRCCM of aam-3 and 9M,9L-I work, it’s not tracking the missile it just looks like it but in reality it lost lock, the missile seeker turns off when it sees flares, sun, other missile and it just so happened that the eurofighter lauched it’s missile which turned off the seeker of your aam-3 and it kept tracking nothing
I know that it should be smarter than that but at the same time it’s balanced because if the IRCCM was better you wouldn’t have chance of flaring it
So the strongest IRCM is a missile…
There is no such thing as the strongest IR missile so far, every missile at top tier has it’s own perks, 9M/aam-3 is almost unstoppable at side on launches while being easily defeated from rear/front when you know how, R73 and magic 2 on the other hand are almost unstoppable in rear launches because of their seeker gate-width shrink while being weak in side aspect but a bit better in close range front aspect
For example 9L is better than the 9M in rear aspect because of the seeker sensitivity of 9L and you can catch people off-guard because flaring 9L and 9M need different techniques but overall 9M is better
You have to know how the missile works in order to use it most effectively
In the situation you showed, every IR missile would miss because it was unlucky, + the typhoon turned at you so the best solution would be launching 120 or aam4
Are the JM engines supposed to output less power than the original J engines? Since, that seems to be the case in game at the moment.
only static they produce less thrust. around mach 1, they start producing more thrust.
Static thrust doesn’t matter for the actual run.
They produce more thrust at speed and even more above mach 1.
Do you have a graph for this so I can see?
If you want to know where he got the graph from, you can even mess around with what is shown. Like this:
Finally took them forever to add a new skin there’s many they can choose from
The F-15J In game has the inccorect fuel mass, this is due to gaijin assuming it uses the same fuel as the other F-15s, when in reality it should use the less dense JP-4, rather then JP-8. Opened a bug report for it.
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/De6RAL0Q2Wbi
I doubt they are going to change that. By that same logic, you could change any F-15 to use any number of different fuels
Not really, all the US F-15 variants we have exclusively use JP-8 (thanks in part due to the specific F-15A variant we have). The specific J (M) we have in game should only use JP-8 based on it’s year. Leaving the base F-15J as the only option to exclusively use JP-4.
Now, yes, which fuel the isreal eagles use isn’t clear, and they could be given any one as far as i know, however without evidence gaijin isn’t going to change them so. (I do believe the I atleast uses JP-8, as i don’t believe the -229s were made tuned around JP-4)
Right, but that doesn’t change the fact that they are just as capable of using a whole range of fuels, and the manuals exist for their usage.
Yes, they all can technically use either fuel (except for the -229s). However, which fuel is used depends on the military, the USAF started phasing out JP-4 in the late 70s in favor of JP-8 (although it was used up until the early 90s), hence why the USAF F-15s in game would only use JP-8, as it’s what the US had in supply and intended to use with them by the year of the models we have in game. Likewise JP-4 was the only military aviation fuel used for jets by japan in the timeframe the F-15J is from, hence why it should get it, and not JP-8, as japan literally didn’t use JP-8 yet.
