Mitsubishi B2M2 (八九式二号艦上攻撃機)
The Mitsubishi B2M1 is a Japanese carrier-based torpedo bomber developed in 1934 as a modification of the Mitsubishi B2M. Its full name is Type 89 Model 2 Naval Bomber Aircraft (八九式二号艦上攻撃機). This aircraft was produced in 1934-35, and a total of 204 Mitsubishi B2M were built.
History
In 1932, a small number of Mitsubishi B2M1 aircraft saw their combat debut during the Shanghai incident, where they proved to be slightly better in performance than the older Mitsubishi B1M3. However, during use, the aircraft turned out to be very unreliable, and due to its size, there were problems operating it on aircraft carriers (the plane was slightly too large for the carrier’s lift). Therefore, in 1933, Mitsubishi was asked to improve the Mitsubishi B2M1 aircraft. The engineers Ohgi and Matsufuji were responsible for the modification project. They were tasked with improving the aircraft’s performance, reliability, as well as enhancing the production process and the materials needed for its construction. To meet the requirements, the tail of the aircraft was redesigned and the wings were modified, reducing the aircraft’s weight by about 100 kg, which improved performance. A few other design improvements were also introduced. Additionally, efforts were made to improve production as well as the materials needed for the manufacture of Mitsubishi B2M aircraft. In 1934, an improved modified Mitsubishi B2M was developed, which, after successfully passing tests, received the designation Mitsubishi B2M2 or the official designation Type 89 Model 2 Naval Bomber Aircraft. The Mitsubishi B2M2 was produced from 1934 to 1935, when it was replaced in production by the more reliable Yokosuka B3Y. In total, 204 Mitsubishi B2M aircraft of both versions were produced. B2M2 aircraft served in front-line units until the beginning of the Second Sino-Japanese War, when in 1937, during a raid on Hangzhou, all the aircraft involved were lost. After this incident, the aircraft were withdrawn from front-line units. Some of the aircraft were later sold into civilian hands, where they mainly served as transport aircraft. By 1941, all Mitsubishi B2M2s had most likely been scrapped.

Construction description
The Mitsubishi B2M2 is similar to the Mitsubishi B2M1, but there are important differences between them, which I will describe here.

  1. The shape of the aircraft’s tail has been changed
  2. The shape of the main wing tips has been changed
  3. The wingspan was reduced by 24 cm
  4. The length of the airplane was reduced by 9 cm
  5. The airplane was equipped with a shared exhaust pipe
  6. The weight of the airplane has been reduced by 80 kg

Summary
The Mitsubishi B2M2 is an interesting aircraft for Japan in War Thunder. Although this bomber is slow (the Swordfish has similar performance), it carries a huge bomb-torpedo load, making it useful in ground, naval, and air battles. The Mitsubishi B2M2 is also similarly armed to the Swordfish, so it will be able to defend itself in air combat. I encourage you to discuss in the comments and to share your own knowledge on this subject.
Finally, I apologize for the linguistic and logical errors because unfortunately English is not my main language and I had to use google translator.
