Missle 95Ya6M


Hello, I would like to report a serious balance issue regarding the 95Ya6M missile in War Thunder. Many players, especially experienced pilots, consider this missile to be overpowered and inconsistent in its current implementation. The main concern is that it creates an unfair gameplay advantage in air combat situations. Additionally, in the current state of the game, no helicopter is realistically able to effectively counter or outplay the Pantsir SM-SV system, which further worsens the overall balance in combined battles. There are two possible ways this issue could be addressed: Improve balance remote detonator behavior to make its performance more realistic and consistent. Alternatively, reconsider its current implementation if it cannot be balanced properly within the game environment. This issue is widely discussed within the pilot community, and many agree that it negatively affects fair gameplay. Thank you for your attention.

I think, devs neeed to remade this rocket or delete it

In the game’s reality, where many maps are flat and lack the necessary terrain for attack aircraft, the missile is too powerful. One option is to revise the air force respawn rate and block airports with terrain on many maps.

I consider this missile to be too powerful and unfair in its current form. Additionally, the spawn on this map is designed in such a way that the enemy SAM can see it from the very beginning of the battle.

True. It’s near impossible to play helicopters against such anti-aircraft guns. Especially the AH-64d

It’s cause it uses ahead type fuse instead of proxy fuse in the sense that the host sends a command for the missile to proxy. So that’s why going below 25m won’t save you from the missile. Not much you can do tbh

The missiles also barely lose any speed at all and maintain its optimum velocity throughout its entire flight unlike every sam in the game (even ones where the manufacturer claims to reach 100km)

Lets be honest, we all know gaijin just wont do anything. In their eyes the system is working “as intended” and i reckon most developers that do play the game, which is probably a minority, play russia.

Ive heard somewhere that the reason why freccia went up in BR is due to bvvd getting mogged by it in bmpt but this is more just a rumor than anything.

Best course of action would be to get rid of 95Ya6M. But the best course of action a year ago has previously been to get rid of Kh38MT and gaijin didnt do anything, infact they just straight up ignored everything related to the missile and didnt give any response to at the time one of the most active threads on the forum. Even CMs did nothing so you know, the expectations for Gaijin and their developers in regards to balance are below the ground at this point.

Its far more realistic that they will just ignore everyone and not do anything while people playing 11.7-13.0 have to cope.
The only saving grace is that vast majority of SM SV players have to be survivors of tragic motorcycle incident with acute and extensive trauma to their brain the way they play it, but in competent hands the system is just capable of shutting down everything and anything, from tanks to helicopters to planes.

I wish i would be wrong but given their track record, highly doubtful.
