Have you checked if the last killer had a +1 in his score board kill count before the game ended? Or did you observe him doing severe damage?

Perhaps you can exchange your mission maker wagers for other wagers?

No because it was just me on my team and I took no damage before crashing.

Not if this Is a bug and I have a good tactic to complete it.

Honestly I do not understand most of this.
I am not talking about ‘kill stealer’ and makes no logical sense to bring up. In any case the ‘kill stealer’ still get the kill, the player who did severe damage just also gets one.

If, in my example, our hero destroyed Enemy A as their last kill I believe they would be credited with ‘Final Blow’ reward as they get credit for the actual kill.

Do you have any proof for the ‘computational restrictions’ part of your argument?

It would be easy enough to have the kills for severe damage be added 1 second after the game ends, but before the final screen. Or any number of other way to implement it. As neither of us are privy to the coded used to run the game it is illogical to talk about it.

I simply feel the player who did severe damage, but failed to kill the player does not deserve the ‘Final Blow’ reward.

Nothing about this situation has any effect on RP.
I think players who make kills should receive kill awards.

How’s about we clean up this thread and clear out those who dragged it off-topic from the outset.

The situation is the OP isn’t getting the award they were supposed to and the reality of the problem isn’t as clear cut as any of us actually thought.

The OP has provided more info regarding this and to my eyes it directly a bug, and thus I mentioned to also hand on the replays to the bug report as well.

mission maker is broken at the moment because it only counts the last player kill for some reason here is proof:

Unfortunately, this isn’t yet proof but only a support for that theory. As the other model would be previous unresolved severe damage, which is also possible given this part of the feed: Mxlo could be given the award, because some severe damage is written off.
But the change in “final blow” requirement is a promising theory that could easily be investigated by the TS.
He only needs to check the scoreboard for +1 kills before the game ends.

Sometimes “final blow” doesn’t even show anyone getting it in the battle log.

This one (Air RB) I got the last player kill, then some AI vehicles and then game timed out at the 25 minute mark. No one was left as a +1 severe damage.

(edit: I didn’t get the Final Blow award in my awards list either)

no, he did not have a severe damage, the last 2 or 3 minutes he spent it airfield camping, the guy he killed was a p47 that he killed on a head on a few minutes prior

This game seems to make it clear Ai are not being counted as final blow.
I destroyed an Ai 14 seconds after the guy who got Final Blow.
That player had destroyed a player vehicle.

Is “final blow” mode sensitive? I know it used to work for ground in air arcade. Never forced it in realistic.

I guess this was in arcade?

I wonder if they will change first strike too? I would notice that soon.

I have had First Strike with Ai within the last week. I suspect the final blow has been this way for a while. I don’t pay much attention, so don’t know how long it has been this way.

My question is: Is this a bug or working as intended? First Strike and Final Blow seem like they should work the same, so one must be bugged.
