Hi, I’m currently in the process of trying to edit the maps from ground RB and other gamemodes, I’ve been looking around and haven’t seen anyone trying to do this. Is it able to be done? and if so, how? for instance. I wanted to change the location of the normandy ground map and have been dealing with the issue of not having the height maps or anything related to the map even if i copied it from the DAG export file of that map.

Hello! I’m trying to find any information on light vehicles that have scout drone capabilities and naval units that can launch aircraft. Is there any solution reported anywhere to get them to work in custom battles? I’m trying to make ww2 maps and thought that naval aircraft launching from ships would make gameplay more fun and you can do scouting missions with them as side quests, or have drone races through tight courses. Is this just wishful thinking and some vehicles just don’t have full functionality in custom battles?
have you tried removing the “s” from “https”? that usually fixes the issue for me, but sometimes just pasting the link with the s works… so I’m not sure why this helps.
I have never looked that, so I have no idea how to make that work and I’m not even sure if it’s possible.
There could be some code that enables it, but finding that is probably next to impossible.
It didn’t fix a single issue that I reported.
The Mission Editor still crashes itself as soon as you try to load the “default” location which is Britain, so people will still think that it’s unusable.
It also crashes on multiple other maps, at least 10 of them.
Right after installing the new update:
Rendering of trees and bushes is still bugged, so they appear only like 200m from the camera, so creating missions on high quality maps for tanks is much harder because you have to guess a lot, especially on maps like Normandy which have a lot of trees.
The bug which crashes your mission editor and can even “brick” it after reaching 80000m ALT above the sea level is also there, if you accidentally press wrong button after getting it you will be basically forced to reinstall the entire CDK, there’s no other way to fix it.

It also added a new bugs, now it’s possible for the Mission Editor to crash itself even if you delete actions, but I haven’t figured out what causes it.
Also it added the new “Location scene” tab which doesn’t work at all and also crashes the entire Mission Editor.

I have had the editor crash on me last patch when deleting actions. I haven’t tested it much, but what seemed to help me in avoiding that bug was just not deleting the actions in quick succession and instead waiting a little.
This recent June 26th update made some maps instantly crash. Some maps dont crash, its may be better to use a old version of CDK. So far Britain and Dover Strait instantly crash. Also the bug isnt when you delete the action, its when you delete a trigger with actions/else-actions/conditions while also having the “Trigger/Mission Obj.” Info tab still up. This bug has been in CDK for years now.
Hi, are only some planes supported for waypoints/AI flight? I made a simple waypoint route for an f-16 which worked, when I switched that same unit to a different plane(gripen) the plane would just start spaceclimbing or crashing into the ground. I then tried a different plane (viggen) and that worked, so I’m assuming that there’s an issue with a handful of planes or maybe just the gripen.
I saw that you can create custom units based on existing units/behaviors, so could I, as a beginner with access to the cdk wiki, fix this issue by creating a custom unit based on the gripen(that I know has that problem) but use the AI “driver” and/or flight model of the f-16?
I figured I’d ask here first because maybe there is a simpler solution or maybe what I described wouldn’t work at all or be too difficult.
New update also has a annoying issue of displaying a console error for almost every objectgroup or structure. Is there a way to disable console popups? Also the missing airfield light error is back.
This new location scene instantly crashes when you try to select a camera FX. A majority if not all of the #gameRes - fx dont work. Also its just unsupported so why even have it.
I get an error when I send out infantry. Is this just me having this problem?
What kind of error?
Though the infantry in WT can be really broken and cause crashes.
If you place an object person, it will fall.

Is there a blk file from the game that is public? Like a random RB Ground battle blk file so we can see how it works in the CDK? or is this hidden? I know it is possible to make a similar one (I have) but with all the bells and whistles, like being able to nuke at the end or something? Or having the controllable planes in ground arcade battles. etc.
Now this would be something to actually have, or direct tutorials about making them.
