It’s not missing, it’s how they made it. If you think about it it’s logical, a mayority of Asian players are Chienese. Chinese players hate Taiwan so gaijin just prevented loosing players because a Taiwanese flag. That way they won’t make any conflict about which “China” is the real and won’t make the majority of chienese players angry, since if you think about it around 10-20 times more chienese player playing than Taiwanese, it’s around the same logic as Ukrainian flag never gonna be added to Russian tech tree even tho they implement Ukrainian mbts in it.

Considering Gaijin has never taken into account any other nationalities animosities when making game updates why would China suddenly become an exception?

Also, it’s a strange line to draw to put the Taiwanese flag on the vehicle card but not as an aesthetic flag choice?
Until chienese players spending way more money than Taiwanese players, that’s obvious gaijin won’t risk their reputation in one of the biggest countries with one of the most active players, and keep in mind Gaijin is Russian sided so that means they’re on China’s side too means we won’t see Taiwan in the near future unlike Ukraine.
People hate lots of things but that doesn’t mean Gaijin should bend the rules to accomodate hateful wishes. Especially at the expense of historical accuracy and player representation. Imagine that you’re from some place and you want to play your domestic vehicles in War Thunder only to discover your national flag isn’t there.
The same rules should apply to ROC as any other in-game operator. That is the true apolitical stance.

It could be yes, but even so monetarily correct =/= morally or ethically correct.

And I completely agree with you, I would love to see a Taiwanese flag, but I’m in this community long enough to know they won’t do it because it’s too much risk for them. They always was on the East Side like on Russia and China’s side, never really cared about most nations there are a million YouTube video about it too + Russian bias explanation so with that logic we never gonna see a Taiwanese flag.
I mostly agree with you too, but there are so many angles to attack this unreasonable policy from that it’s absurd. There’s no way they could justify it to us with a straight face.
CCP players are killing this game, and gaijin is supporting them.

Yeah.
But based on the Russian government here where I live it just the most normal things to do with a straight face, I’m not surprised tbh. They can announce anything with a straight face, for example last time they announced: “We have better lies than the other political party” - so with that Russian logic it’s kinda normal to do those kind of things and never explain or apologise abt them and keep in mind Gaijin is a Russian company too.
I’m sorry about that, but to keep this thread and us from being nuked I think it’s better to not talk about factors outside the game itself. I also don’t have high hopes about a response but it’s the only thing we can really ask for at this point.
Right I’m just saying I’m really not surprised about they not implemented the flag lol. If I were them I wouldn’t put that flag in the game either

I mean after we saw the BM Oplot’s fate ending up in the Japanese tech tree, it was really predictable we won’t see neither an Ukrainian neither a Taiwanese flag ever in the game but at least we have Taiwanese velchies unlike a real Ukrainian T-84 cus “Ukraine have just a few T-84s” while we have prototype tanks in the game with only one production model.
Eh I mean gaijin is located in Hungary now. They honestly weren’t even that bad until a year or two ago when it had just been horrible decision after horrible decision.
Really really bad for business, I genuinely don’t understand BVVD’s strategy, maybe he has developed schizophrenia
