The SIM needs a dedicated update. I’ve seen dozens of good ideas that would make SIM mode more attractive.
Gaijin has a good SIM community. They get lots of good ideas, but unfortunately they only get fixes and no new implementations.
I particularly still think that we should have a representative (Game Master) who really plays SIM and has a good workload of battles and shows that he understands our pain.
To understand what I mean is: I’ve seen the cards of the Game Masters, and there are very few who have been playing SIM for more than 1 day (the information is public). So, I think we should have a stronger representative who will take our ideas from suggestions to implementation.
The mechanics from your point of view are interesting. For example, in another discussion, players want it to generate rewards. However, as mentioned above, perhaps the warnings in YES were added unintentionally. It’s worth leaving, at least the evasion message, only when the pilot lands safely. I say this because I found the proposal interesting, I would just change the time at which the message should appear.
this message seems to be appearing in more than aircrafts, if you shoot down a missile in and spaa it generates also, i think its dumb i wanna play sim because its sort of realistic, i dont want the extra additions that make it like the other modes. seems like most of these message appear in tank battles too when an enemy artillerys you get artillery warning. hopefully we can see it get fixed to be like it was before. also for the sake of sim maybe remove the tank hit message too when it tells you what you damaged in the enemy tank, for realism purpose.
So the missile evasion is still there, but Gaijin removed the out of bounds warnings, which are the only warnings that I think should show up in sim. I also died twice because of it, so I am a bit annoyed about that.
I think it would be funny if out of bounds was straight up just a country’s entire air defense system, and you get blasted out of the sky by a patriot/s400 or whatever they are using these days.
@Schindibee - Could you help us with some feedback on the lingering message?
As you will notice, all the other messages have been removed, even though in the Devs report the “missile evasion” message was in the same package, it has not been removed.
