While it is nice to see additional features be implemented, the “Missile Evaded” pop-up is a very bad addition to the game.
It will alert enemies that they dodged a missile even if they did not see it in the first place which would make them notice a second incoming missile. It would also reduce a the skill gap by a lot, letting players that have no idea they actually dodged a missile and are still defending know that they did and let them instantly re-engage.
Gaijin if this makes it to production you might as well remove “Realistic” from “Air Realistic Batttles”.
Keep on ruining the only good gamemode that we have left.
Too little premium buyers buy their second premium after they see that operating a top tier radar requires more than two buttons I guess. Let’s keep pandering to the lowest denominator. Give everyone a fake MAW system as well. Looking around is hard after all. Put CCIP on all planes as well.
Nvm this seems to only display the evasion thing once the missile once the missile self detonates
Then why keep the rest of the post that you clearly don’t mean to have anymore?
The feature IS good, and I don’t understand why people are afraid of players learning…
I didn’t, and I appreciate that players will know after the fact that a missile missed them [I don’t know if another technique could be as ergonomic]. Whatever helps players learn to be more effective.
After all, it’s not hand-holding to inform players after a battle/engagement what happened [past tense].
Another great way to make missile thunder even less enjoyable than it already is. This is awful and the skill requirement becomes significantly less (coincidental with new premium toptier AMRAAM jets?)
