I think 10.7BR is fine for IIIE, but a little bit of buff for stock loadout might be juicy and won’t hurt much.
Stock grind of IIIC was insane thanks to AIM-9B, and I am quite shunned to try IIIE stock grind while I need to fight against 23ML with 9B. :(
Legacy modification tree is brutal I think.

Seems not a great jet thanks to the insane level of compression, also seems not a bad enough to get buffed down to 10.3

Was talking about the Mirage III BRs, thought I’d shove it in there. As for the 3 CJ, 10.0 fair again as it trades the Magic 1 for longer range IR msls (9Ds)
It is heavier with a better engine though, you do lose a bit of flight performance :)
No, it is a 3C that has FAR worse thrust/weight ratio because it gains over a ton in empty weight but you gain 20 kg/f of thrust on afterburner… that’s a rounding error. It gains a SMALL amount of countermeasures in exchange for this along with the RWR… things you ONLY need because you’re at 10.7 to begin with. At 10.0 a RWR is optional. You’re paying 0.7br to get 45 CMs and a far worse flight model.

I can’t see 9.3s having any chance against a Mirage IIIE though. It may suffer a bit at 10.7, but what is say an F100D supposed to do to you now? Against a 3C it could at least hope its 9E hits if the Mirage is slightly slow

This is cope by you. You are not stupid enough to think this really matters. If a 3E is slow enough for a 9E to hit it’s also slow enough to be blasted away by any weapon down to .50 cals.
Well that changed quickly… In a downtier the 3C is next to untouchable, of which I have already referred to. However, what is a flareless deltawing supposed to do against 11.3? No RWR or anything that can save you.

Only if it maintains speed without giving its ass to missiles, and you can dodge its attacks since it utilizes not so sensitive rear aspect missiles.
It’s too strong for 10.3. The Mirage IIIC’s lack of countermeasures means that a higher BR would make the thing a free kill.

Fair point, +0.7BR for 45CM is a bit too much if we consider contemporary jets in American trees

I’ve already mentioned why its too strong for 10.3. 9.3s simply can’t do anything to it. Most of the 10.3s are argueably underBR’d (F8U I’m mainly looking at you). The last thing we need is more compression around those battle ratings. At 10.3 an argueably balanced plane is the Mirage 5BA- you get countermeasures but you drop the radar and centreline pylon, while switching the Magic 1s for 9Js.
GR.1A is tragic
But they can deal with a MIG-21SMT? MiG-21MF? F-8U? Mirage 3C? F-1? No logic is here. You haven’t given a real reason why the 3E is better.
Not a real argument for keeping 1 jet at the wrong BR for what gaijin currently has the BRs at. You aren’t on here making posts saying the 21SMT should go up in BR. You’re on here denying the 3E gets a downtier just because you have the thought the 21SMT might be too good for 10.3, despite the 3E being strictly worse than the 21SMT as it is, so it wouldn’t matter regardless…

Well AIM-9Es and AIM-26s are okay, but they’re not any different to what Mig-21SMT or F-4C is using, though the F-4C is 10.0 because lack of flares.

Also, just to be clear, the Mirage 5BA when compared to the Mirage 3E… is a better aircraft than the Mirage 3E.
