this match i couldnt get a single kill from behind,they just can do 1 to 3 flares and goodbye,while aim9 or aim54 is confermed hit once launched
Been a while since ive flown it. I got it for grinding France and for something a little different to play on occasion, but ive not had much motivation for it of late. Its perfectly fine aircraft, but I just dont always find it… fun. Not sure why
oh boy mig23ml is so bad,just fastest way to die,no great armament,no bombing skill,not enough flares,and no manuverbility

That sounds more like a you issue.
Aim-9Ls are jsut as flare hungry these days as R-60 and the Mig-23ML with 72 Large Calibre flares is especially safe. Something like a Tornado IDS with 2x Aim-9L being the same BR as the Mig-23ML is quite frankly, insulting.
As for Aim-54… Really? they only kill you, if you are flying in a straight line
Its better in most of the respect you listed than many 11.7s such as the Tornado IDS, F-104S ASA and a few others and even at least 1x 12.0 (F4JUNK)
Yeah… that looks… wrong. Unless those missiles are made out of Tungsten

yeah if you think its true than look at iran iraq war kill count,only 57 casualties iranian fighter and 270 iraqi fighters ,what were those you might ask?only f14 and f4 wich mirage f1 from iraq airforce still managed to kill 4 f14,they should fight with f14 and f16 not these poor migs

Again. Date of service or historical comabt means nothing, otherwise by the same logic you would have F-15s and Tornado F3s with Aim-9Ms at the same BR as the Mig-23 based upon Desert Storm.

Best weapons it has is the R-24Rs its just the radar that lets it down
agreed,2 napalm and 2 r24r is very good but radar,not intresting
Them moving the F-15s down to 12.7 has made it any better but hopefull they might fix that mistake
Look I’m not gonna lie… that sale was probably Gaijin trying to incite FOMO on vehicles that aren’t selling well or that got nerfed/powercrept and that no one’s buying because they suck.
Again I never tried the mig23 but it seems like Gaijin nerfed it pretty brutally last year and it’s no longer the monster it used to be.
It certainly hasn’t helped it that’s for sure.
Though I think its kinda insane it took like 3 years for them to actually nerf it down to IRL level, I dont think its actually at IRL level and is still overperforming a bit and after the nerfs, its still one of the stronger aircraft at 11.7, how it was at the same BR before is totally beyond me
