Are you talking about Mirage F1C-200 or are you talking about one of the Mirage 2000s?
Im thinking Mirage F1C-200, in which case, it might be one of the better balanced aircraft in-game.
Magic II is strong, but limited by the fact its only got 2.
The SARH missiles arent that good, weaker than the R-24R found on the Mig-23. (and also in a very limited missile count)
Its FM is actually fairly average, not that fast or agile, but not bad either.
Yes it has a lot of CMs but not even the most at 12.0.
Gunpods, really? Does anyone really use them in ARB? I dont think ive ever seen it done. I figure they would add way too much weight and drag to be worth it
Radar is one of, if not maybe the weakest at 12.0, very similar in performance to that of the Mig-23s and the RWR is also a bit limiting, certainly one of the weaker RWRs at 12.0
I think its about right actually and being brutally honest. Complaining about facing them in the Mig-23, when the Mig-23MLD at the very least is on a very very slippery slope here in probably needing to be 12.0 is kinda funny.
I also think the Mirage F1s should be joined by aircraft like the Tornado GR4/SLE at the moment as well, given they actually have weaker loadouts.

I’ve got +200 battles in it, and I wouldn’t call it unfair. It’s a good workhorse and if your team is solid you can get a lot done and 2-3 kills by staying fast, anyway, the trick to beating an F1 is to get it slow. Believe me if you’re fighting an F1 in your mig 23 in the 600 kph range, you will dumpster him every day of the week, it simply does not turn slow and has garbage low speed thrust.
The magic 2 is amazing, but if you’re properly pre flaring the F1 will never get a good launch on you, the rest of its missiles are either one flared or one chaffed.

I haven’t flown the 23ML, I have no idea how easy/hard the jet is to fly, sorry. I tend to avoid talking about vehicles i dont have experience in. All I know is that the F1C has weaknesses you can exploit, get them slow and you can easily win/dispatch them.

mig23 is just trash nowdays,auto lock and trash missles never ever buy it,i know i sound stupid but its just western bias,they buffing nations like usa the most so people spend more money on premium becuase its better than any nation
Gun pods actually add less weight and drag than the 2 SARH missiles… in fact BOTH pods have less weight/ drag then a single missile.

Hmm… Interesting, figured that would be the opposite.
It’s decent rear aspect and somewhat ok in a downtier, I still carry them just in case because they work well against people that are busy and not paying attention, but tbh I should probably swap them out for the gunpods.
Keep in mind if you notice an F1 locking you and firing its fox1 you can just keep flying straight, chaff a few times and that missile will go to narnia instantly.
the matras? I prefer to run the SARH ones personally, I dunno it there are “better” though, it just gives me a head on option that doesn’t waste a magic 2 in a less than ideal aspect.
Ive had a surprising amount of sucess with the SARH on the Mirage F1, though I also tend to fire them at Zombers.
Apparently they buffed them a tiny bit, no idea if it’s true, i picked that up from a few people in game chat over my games in it.
this match i couldnt get a single kill from behind,they just can do 1 to 3 flares and goodbye,while aim9 or aim54 is confermed hit once launched
Been a while since ive flown it. I got it for grinding France and for something a little different to play on occasion, but ive not had much motivation for it of late. Its perfectly fine aircraft, but I just dont always find it… fun. Not sure why
