This is standard for all RWRs, and is true in real-life physics. Radar signal even in track is not just a thin laser-like line to the locked target, as some people assume. To clarify, here’s an overhead diagram of dipole radar in general, from Wikipedia:
As you can see, the antenna radiation pattern illustrates the fact that the main lobe is not exactly a narrow beam, and it even emits in all directions despite being pointed in one specific direction. To draw an unrelated example for understanding, it’s like a megaphone speaker pointed in a direction, you can still hear the sound even behind it (although sound and EM waves are obviously completely different things). So even when other aircrafts’ radar are in track or launch modes, non-target aircraft may receive RWR notification.
For easier visualization, I provide a rectangular plot of antenna radiation pattern; the X axis is in degrees same as the rectangular radar screen in game, and y axis is gain in dB.

That’s because Gaijin rarely decompress, and when they do they rarely do it well. Which is why I said we will keep waiting because proper decompression won’t happen. But trust me, you want proper decompression. The waiting times wouldn’t even be that bad

just catch clueless targets at +10km with them, and try to launch them at enemies ur allies aren’t firing SARH missiles too, cuz ur 530F will get one chaffed.
they’re meh, but when u get a kill it’s as funny as getting a kill with an AIM-4F.

even if they’re, i prefer to wait 5mins for a match than getting smacked by 13.0 aircrafts.
whatsoever i just alt-tab when waiting for a match and the WT Program tells u when u’re in one (it turns red, at least for Windows/Steam version).
I have the premium one and it was perfectly fine to play when I used it to grind the Rafale. I’m mostly a ground player and even I could get decent stats in the F1C-200.
Okay flight model, a shit load of countermeasures (even more now with the wing pod) and 2 basically free kills if you have 2 braincells.
Only downsides were the radar missiles and RWR.
This lol, at least in queue I can do something else, in an unplayable match I have to tryhard for nothing or to leave and wait in crew lock
With the F-15As at 12.7 now it’s probably a bit messier tho no?

Oh yeah the F-15A change fucked 12.7 hard, I mostly played it before that change happened.
But I would say that is still more of a decompression issue overall than a specific Mirage F1C issue. Moving the F1C down would be just as criminal as the F-15A BR reduction.
this goes in pair with the radar missiles and RWR.
what about Kfir C.7 and F-4J/S? F-4J has rear aspect missiles (while JA37 has swedish AIM-9L) and a technically bad radar (tho i don’t feel it’s bad at all), and Kfir C.7… it’s truly not 12.0 material, would even say it would be fair at 11.3.
Are you seriously trying to imply that the Kfir C.7 is better than the F1C? please tell me I’m misreading this.
The Kfir has basically no radar to speak off, only 4 non-IRCCM IR missiles and 36 countermeasures. The F1C beats it all day.
F-4S is pretty much a one trick pony. It beats the F1C in BVR but should lose in most other categories.

so it’s a skill issue to move down a plane without IRCCM missiles, radar, SARH missiles or at least a decent amount of countermesures to 11.3? my MiG-21SMT has more countermesures than that sh*t.
So you want to move the Kfir C.7 down to 11.3? Now that would be a somewhat agreeable opinion even if imo it would be better to start with moving it down to 11.7 (and move the C.2 down to 11.3).
However the F1C and F-4S are still fine for 12.0.
I think he meant the C7 is bad and should go down to 11.3, he wasn’t about the F1 there
